Has anyone seen Master and Commander? I was in San Diego a couple of weeks ago and saw the HMS Surprise which is the ship that was used to film the movie. It is on display at the harbor and is part of a four ship tour.

I rented and watched the DVD the Sunday before my trip.

Rented it last weekend. We enjoyed it. Did you tour the ships? That would be really neat to see and do. I can't imagine what it was like for these men to live for weeks or months at a time on ships like these and endure battles like that. Staying ashore suits me just fine.
