A lot of times during the warm breeze of Summer or the coolness that Fall brings, Cindy and I will go to certain grounds with our board and try communicating with those around us.
One particular area is called French Creek which is along side an old furnace called Hopewell Village. The Village is a hot spot and stories by the Park Rangers surround the big house and also some oddities with chairs swaying to and fro after hours.
Hopewell Village was known for producing a large quantity of iron works for the settlers in the early years. The work was tough and many died as they would in any colony.
There are no records of the woods being inhabited by ghosts but a few partial walls stand from long forgotten homes. It is within these perimeters that Cindy and I chose to channel our thoughts. The area is also along the route to the cemetary which is nestled upon a slighted hill about a mile away from Hopewell.
One fine October evening, Cindy and I decided to grab the board and see what we could find. It has been weeks of walking the woods that you can actually feel energy reaching out. I must admit that imagination always plays a part of any journey.
As we have been accustomed with the instant moving of the pointer, Cindy and I could feel attention drawn to our beings. At one point, Cindy had physical contact on her shoulder and actual words could be heard as if by accident. A few minutes later, a being leans over and breaths on Cindy's hair while I am oberving movement coming down a nearby road where we parked.
Soon our nerves have run its' course and we headed to the car. Before we reached the handle, footfalls of a dog and chain could be heard getting closer. We thought perhaps someone else was rustling their own spirits and we drove in the direction the sound was heard. But as you would expect, the road was completly deserted except for the trees and fields.
In theory, Cindy and I could have yelled out and the walking dog should have been upon us in a few minutes. It was that close.
We headed home with much discussion. Cindy always seems to bring something home every time. She is like a magnet for those to attach themselves. We have tried many Apache and Native protection spells but poltergeist type of beings seem to thrive on following Cindy.
Sometimes a poltergeist would swipe the hand over her cheeks. One day while watching television, a spirit made the fish jump in one tank while continuing his journey across the room and made those fish jump as well. Other times, the darkness in certain rooms would be so thick that no one in the household will enter. The heavy dark air and watching is what worries me the most. We have cleansed the house numerous times but as soon as we go on an excursion, we feel something different with Cindy's energy as if she is traveling not alone.
Cindy's Mom (cherokee) and myself (Yavapai-Apache) have discussed the reasoning of why her energy is always being attached and she is the one that carries the unwanted into our home. Does anyone have experience with such dealings or perhaps we missed a solution to protect Cindy so that she can enjoy these outings without side affects.
