Hi everyone
I was wondering if anyone had some advice for me. We have a new ghost appeared in my home, shes a womand in her thirtys I'd say she wears a long blue dress which is dirty and ragged around the bottom it comes down to where her ankles should be although you cant see her feet, she has long light coloured hair thats very tangled looking and her face is always sad her eyes are very deep set and her face is very dirty almost like soot.
She appears half way along our hall upstairs and glides into my bedroom and then into Beckys room into the corner of the room where she stands for a moment and then she glides over to beckys bed and stands and watches her for a few moments, then she disappears into a black form and then is gone without a trace. I have an awful feeling in the pit of my stomach when she is around and she makes me feel scared to enter the room. She has never disturbed becks but she has contacted my other daughter Anna and told her that her children were burned alive in a fire. The children I having playing downstairs were killed in a fire but she doesnt seem to be connected to them and she only appeared about three weeks ago. Why does she make me feel this way when I get visitors normally I know they are there but this feeling is awful and do you think she would hurt becky?

The best I can think of is maybe it's some type of warning. You say you have children that died in a fire in the house and now this lady who lost her children in a fire, but they aren't connected. Is there a history of a fire in your house, or on the property?
Or maybe it's a warning of some sort, check your smoke detectors, look for fire hazards, get a fire extinguisher. Maybe she's trying to say something is unsafe in your house, or maybe even in Beckys room. It could be a stretch, but it wouldn't hurt to make sure there are no hazards and that smoke detectors have new batteries.

I was going to say the same thing. I know you said there was a fire in the past, in a school that was on your property? Does this "blue lady" go through the same motions every day, at the same time, or does she interact with her environment (you, your kids, objects in your house)? If it doesn't interact, it could just be an imprint that for some reason decided to appear. If it's interactive, maybe she's trying to tell you something. Like Remo said, I'd check for possible fire hazards.
Another thought I had, maybe you should (temporarily) move Becky out of her room, for her protection. Not that the blue lady is likely to do something to her, but if she's warning about a fire, it could be a fire that starts in her room, or something she wouldn't be able to escape from if she's in that room.

She may indeed be some sort of warning, but what I'm wondering is, maybe she IS connected to your ghost children and for some reason is not able to reunite with them. Maybe she has some sort of unresolved feeling of guilt that has blocked her from joining her children.
Lynn, with as much as you've had going on at that location, it may be time to call in some expert help. I seem to recall you didn't have much luck with the local vicar, but I'd try again and be persistant. Invite him over and see if your visitors give him a performance. If you can't get any help from him, try contacting one of the paranormal societies. Be persistant!
As a mother, I couldn't imagine the anguish I would feel if I lost my child for eternity, never to be united with them. If this poor soul has wondered the earth that long without her babies, she deserves some rest. Get her some help, and free your own family from what has got to be an upsetting experience.

I have to agree that she may be providing some warning. Your inner instinct is also telling you something. Good advise Carrie seeking additional help with this should be explored. I also agree with Kevin that moving Becky for now until this can be solved is a good protective measure and with Remo to check your home and detectors etc.

I have been trying so long to get back on my computer.Thanks for responding,so much has been going on for a start when I first posted this it took ten attempts as the computer kept shutting down and the icon I put up was the question mark when the computer finally came back onto site that laughing face was there instead. She does make herself known by moving beckys toys about, stacking my cushions up in a neat pile in the lounge, when I was speaking to Peggy on the phone until we discussed her the line was fine, then when I asked Peggy what I should do the minute she said to put an open bible in the room on Psalm 101 the line went really stratchy. I did as Peggy suggested and the bible keeps closing when nobody is around. I know shes not connected to the kids as she is in victorian clothes and the kids are from war time. As for the fire warning that is really spooky because about four years ago I saw a medium who guessed that I was into Feng Sheui she said that I had a lot of candles around my home, which I do, but I must never light them ever, and if someone did light one then it must never be left unattended for it would lead to a fire so what with that warning and now her I'm wandering whats going to happen, oh and the other day my landlord came out to do a house inspection, an hour after he left he came back and said he had a strong feeling to come back and test the fire alarm, infact he fitted another one at the top of the stairs outside mine and beckys bedrooms, how weird is that. He knows nothing of what is going on yet he felt he had to do it. Now what do you make of that.....

I get the feeling that something is going to happen, and I recommend moving Becky out of her room ASAP.
Your landlord probably picked up the same feelings you are from the ghosts, and got the gut feeling that he should check the smoke detectors.
Is there someone you can have do a fire prevention inspection of your home? I don't know if the fire department can do that, but I would think someone could look over the place and sniff out potential risks. And get an escape plan formed, especially for a situation where you're upstairs and can't get down because of fire (fire ladders for the upstairs windows, etc.).

Yeah I'd call the local FD. If they are feeling nice you might be able to get them to stop by and do a home inspection. But they mainly just look for hazards, some FD's will even give you a free smoke detector and install it for you. So you could at least call and ask. Just tell them you have a baby and are worried about her safety. They could do more than that, but I doubt they would becuase of course things like that take more time.
