I have been able to see and hear things.
But, this has me really bug.
I have been seeing this man, yes I know it's a man. Well anyway he big build, and this is the part that bugs me he has a black mist around him and I do me black.The feeling you get is as if you fell into a pit, you cannot hear or feel anything. The feeling I get is heartless. Seeing him only last acouple of seconds but what you see really makes you feel strange. I have a hard time explaneing it. The other thing is when your in the house, we live in a 2 story farm house and you feel like your being watch through the windows even on the 2nd floor and I know no one on the porch roof.
I know about the area and the house we live in that not an issue.
So if anyone has any info. that would be great.

Sometimes it is not just the house but what may have been there long before your house was there that may hold some clues. It sounds like whoever this man is he is a very unhappy soul/ghost and that unhappiness is what you are picking up. If he was a nasty mean person while in body he is still that now.

How long have you been seeing him? Has anyone else encountered him or had the same uneasy feelings?

I started seeing him about a month ago. But, some days he around more than others. My youngest son will not go upstairs with out turning on all the lights, shower without me or his brother sitting a the top step and he keeps the door open. I think he may have seen him also. I really get creeped out at night thats when you really start to feel uneasy. None of the friends of my husband "guys" get the feeling of being watched, only my friends "girls". So mabey that has something to do with it?
I get the feeling that this is a unhappy soul just the way he looks and feels when you see him.

Is there any way you can get your son to talk without asking him directly if he has seen this ghost? Perhaps starting a conversation like "Hey, I've been noticing you've been a little jumpy lately. Is there anything about the upstairs that is bothering you..." Maybe by initiating a conversation that way, he could confirm what you've been seeing and feeling.
Cat has a good idea about checking out what was on this property prior to your home being built. Have you added any sort of antique or used furniture to your home in the last month or so? These things may provide you some clues as to who this is. Good luck, and let us know if you find anything!

I have asked my son why he dosent like the upstairs, he just says no reason. But he will go into the attic by himself, I cannot understand that? Just his room who he shares a room with his Brother whos 9 months older, and he will not sleep with out some kind of bright and I mean bright night light. He upstairs alone all the lights on, and door open when he getting a shower, even durning the day. The house has been here about 1800 and I know pretty much of the history of the house. I havent bought anything that is old, there is one thing it could be. But I would know why he would be here and why he show himself to me? My landlords Grandson was killed, he got crushed between 2 trains. That took place in a nother part of the county. If it's him why would he come here and why would'nt he show himself to his Dad and Brother who both live down the street from me? His Grandfather also lives down the street also?

Did this fellow have a particular attachment to the house, for instance, could he have been raised in it (at least for a time), or had a close relationship with the person who lived there? (I'm assuming the previous inhabitant was a relative of this man.)
Is the apparition in modern clothing, or does it seem to belong to another era? If it is from another era, you may want to start researching what you think may be the appropriate time period.
