 - I have been away from this site for awhile (dealing with a lot of stuff my female rottie vivie has seizures) and My husband and I have been busy taking care of her. But, I am back and would like an opinion. I noticed this bright ball above the dog standing when I was looking at the pictures . Could anyone tell me if this is an orb or not?? Would love to know. Thanks Barb =)

Hi Barb!
I'm not an expert or anything so I could be wrong but I have seen a lot of "orb" pictures. I think it is very possible that that is an orb. It doesn't look like it's on the lense and it doesn't look like the flash could have reflected off anything either. So it just might be!! Very cool! Thanks for sharing =)

Nice picture by the way! Gorgeous Dogs!! [Wink]

Is the dog that has seizures the one with the orb over them by any chance??

Amazing dogs. I'm not the best at knowing what is an orb vs dust or something else so I can't say for sure. It does look like one though.

((Hugs)) sorry for the loss of your Dad. Even if this is not an orb, do know that he can and very likely does visit with you all the time.

Have your dogs reacted to anything or appear to be looking at something that you can't see? =)

Hiya Barb:

First, let me say I am sorry about your loss. Secondly, your dogs are beautiful. As far as the "orb," this one I'm not sure about. The reason why, is the vinyl or plastic thingee hanging just above it. I don't know if your flash could have caused that or not. Here's a cropped/enlarged pic of it. I did do an inverted pic also. Here they are:

Savannh, First, let me thank you for the well wishes you sent my way =) . Thank you also for the work you did on the picture. I know in my heart that is what it was but, was hoping for some sign that my dad [Cry] was around. I so want to capture (for myself) some proof that there is another side out there. I guess I will just keep trying and wishing. Thanks again!!! =) Oh P.S. Keep those great pictures coming that you take. I love looking at them!!!!!!! [Big Grin]

Barb,

I don't know if you read what happened to me last week, in Heartache Hotel... but if not, read it. I know you want a sign that your dad is around, and you will get one, if you haven't all ready. Listen closely to your voice mail or answering machine, and don't dismiss hangup calls or calls that sound a lil strange. I can tell you this, he IS around, he may have crossed over, but you can bet he can visit or contact. What happened to me, has forever changed my perspective on things, and I wish everyone could experience that. As far as getting pics, I always ask if spirits are there and would they like to be in my photos and then afterwards I always say thank you God bless. Another thing, I get a "feeling" sometimes where to take a pic, without even thinking about it. I can be somewhere and all of sudden I get an urge, like "that would be a good pic." Lot of times if I'm purposely orb hunting or whatever, I won't get anything. I never see them on the display window of my camera. Only when I upload them onto the computer. So I never know what I have until I get home. (I use a hp digital cam, 3.2 MP) Anyway, thank you for takin a look at my pics, and hang in there... you will get your reassurance, believe me. Probably when you least expect it. =) Keep you cam handy at all times, and if you suddenly get a feeling to take a pic, take it and see what you come up with. Million Hugs,

Pate

Hello all. This is my very first post, and I'm happy to have found this site. It looks way cool so far! I am so sorry about your loss Barb. I have to say that that spot looks more like an "orb" than alot of other "orbs" that I've seen! Since my question was the same as Barb's, I just figured I would post a reply here instead of starting a new topic. I took some pics at my sister's new house and uploaded them to my website: (PICS DELETED TO MAKE ROOM FOR NEW ONES) I was wondering if anyone would be so kind as to check them out and give me some opinions as to whether or not those weird spots are orbs. At first I thought it was something on the lens, but I got alot of normal pictures at exactly the same time. Please let me know what you think! Thanks, Karen. [Rainbow Smiley]

i would have to say they are dust for 2 reasons 1. there are just too many to be anything other than dust and 2. being christmas and opening presents and moving around blah blah blah, all the movement would cause dust to kick up resulting in the false positive photos.

Hi karen (my sisters name is karen also =) ) and welcome. Thank you so much for the sympathy wishes for my dad. I don't know if they are orbs or not. Everytime I post something I think is an orb I seem to get my hopes shot down =( . The picture I posted of my dogs, I had failed to mention and should have posted the others I took before with the same plastic hanging in the back ground and the is no orb or dust or flash in them. - - Well I tried to post the other picture I took before but don't think it took. So anyway, Karen keep trying to get your orbs and I will try to maybe between the both of us we will catch something right??? [Yep!] Keep me posted with your picture taking [Wink] Take care and enjoy this site!!!

Hi, Barb. Thanks for the warm welcome! I have posted another questionable orb pic and am almost ready to post a link to some more. Maybe one of those will turn up something, but I doubt it... lol. Good luck with your pics!

OK, I've been staring at these pictures for two days and can't keep my mouth shut anymore (so what else is new? [Big Grin] ). I get that the bright orb in the first pic you posted could be a reflection but have you taken a closer look at the other two? Check the top one of them on the seat cushion just over Vivie's head. I see what looks like a largish faint orb there. The color doesn't look much different from the color of the cushion so you may want to enlarge it. It doesn't appear on either of the other pictures.

Hi Barb...

Ok, I did what I could with the pic, it was hard to enlarge and sharpen it without losing quality for sure. I'm not sure on this one either. I do agree that the bright orb is not in the other picture, yet the blue plastic stuff is. This one may or may not be dust. I noticed you had a fire going in the fireplace, which could cause a lil dustie bunnie orb. Here's what I did to them, and maybe someone else has an opinion. These may not be much help. But gives a different view anyway.

Pate, I don't think we are talking about the same picture. Look at the post where she posted two pics together and then look at the top one. The orb(?) that I am talking about is on the front of the seat cushion.

I see the orb you are talking about- on the seat cushion- and I think that it is more likely to be an orb than the one originally pointed out. I'm not an expert, however, but I am pretty sure that this one is an orb.

It's getting confusing, huh? [Laughing] I adjusted this pic (angel doggie,) so Barb could see the "orb" on the doggie's foot better. I also looked at the other two pics. I do see that there is an "orb" in one and not the other. I was saying the orb on the doggies foot could be a dust orb, due to having a fire going in the fireplace. It's hard to say for sure.

Hugs,
Pate
