We have a title for the 6th Harry Potter book Rowling anounced it on her site, it's Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince .No word on when the book will be finished but I get the feeling that she's in the home stretch. I know it's wishfull thinking but now that we have a title I'm all excited. We have to keep watching her site for more clues behind the brick wall.

Believe it or not, I haven't seen or read any Harry Potter stuff. I have a friend who is amazed by this, as much as I like to write and read. So...for Christmas, he's sending me the movies on dvd. When I see "HP" I think of Hewlette Packard.![[No]](graemlins/no.gif)
I'm looking forward to seeing the movies, maybe I'll catch the HP bug myself. Here's a few HP blinkies for you.

You really must read the books. The movies are fun, but the books are better. I read the first one several years ago because I kept hearing Harry Potter this, and Harry Potter that every where and I decided I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Wow, I was totally amazed. With the first one I was completely enthralled and immediately went back to the book store that day and bought the next two, that week I borrowed the fourth from my little brother and then had the long dreary wait for the fifth- 3 yrs!. Now I'm excited as can be that we actually have a date for the sixth. I really wish I could just sleep through the wait because I'm dying for it, the Harry Potter withdrawls are getting bad!

Hi Renee...I heard it too, yesterday morning on the radio about the book coming out July 16th AND one person in that book didn't survive. We have to wait and buy the book to find out. ![[Shock]](graemlins/shock.gif)

Spookette... I could use some of that potion myself. heheI read in the paper the other day that a copy of the book was stolen and the thieves tried to sell it to a reporter of a daily newspaper (The Sun I think it was) for $90,000. Apparently when the reporter went to purchase the book he arrived without the cash in hand and actually tried to leave with the book without paying, which the thieves did not find amusing. In the end the thieves were arrested and the book was confiscated (now under lock and key) by the arresting officers. Can't recall where the book was taken for 'lock-up' but it will not be released until next month. =)
Not the most brilliant lot of thieves that's for sure. A little less haste could have resulted in a far more handsome ransom paid with a more appealing 'tip' than jail time.![[Wink]](wink.gif)

I'm going to start a spoilers thread[/URL] for those of us that have finished reading it. That way we can discuss our the book and our theories without spoiling it for anyone whose not finished yet. I've finished my second run through today.

Sounds like book 6 is another winner. Just picked it up and I'm looking forward to reading it (have some catch up reading to do first though). My son started reading 6 today and so far he's saying thumbs up. I also can't wait for the next movie to come out. My intuition went off last night. When it does it means something has happened. I don't mean a release announcement. It could just mean she had her word writer/portable pc fixed or something.
