Hey SpiritKeep Peeps:

These are new pics, taken with a digital cam by my friend, at Independence Hall in Philadelphia, PA. yesterday. I thought with the July 4th weekend, it would be an appropriate post. =) They are located at Independence Hall[/URL]

Be sure to click image to zoom so you can see them good. Check 'em out and enjoy.

Hugs to all,
Pate

they look like dust orbs to me and seeing all the people in the pics makes me 100% sure they are dust.

I disagree with you on a couple of these. Especially the one in image #4. It's bright and the only one really visible in the room. I do know that most of the orbs in the pictures are dust. That's why I put "orbs" in quotes. But there are a couple that are not. They look just as "real" as some I've seen at other sites, even some I've seen of pics at the Topton House Hotel. Sorry, and no offense meant, and I appreciate your opinion. With it being July 4th weekend, I thought it would be a fun post. =)

true, and no offense taken (and i didnt mean to cause offense if i did) but at the topton house there wasnt a bunch of people in the photo (or there for that matter)and being the 4th of july and heavy traffic going in and out of independence hall all day i still think its nothing but dust.

=) Hi savannah, Those are some great shots you took.I think that the one picture with the ball of light over the mans head is what looks to be a true orb shot. It is like you said, it looks like something you would see on other ghost sites. But I am sure a few will disagree with us [Roll Eyes] . [Embarrassed] I have a favor to ask you, I hope you don't mind. I am attaching a picture I took of my dogs a few yrs ago and caught what I believe to be an orb at the back foot of the dog dressed as an angel (disregard the other spot it is a water stain). I ask your opinion because I have had conflicting opinions on different sites I sent it to. Some say it is, others say it's nothing but dust. I in my heart think it is because of the way it sits behind her foot but, most likely with my luck it's not. If you wouldn't mind working your magic like you did for me on the other photo I would appreciate your opinion =) - Thanks

Thanks Barb... and yes, later on today I will take a closer look at that pic. Your dogs are so cute, made me laugh as soon as I saw the pic. [Laughing]

And Damien, it's cool. We can agree to disagree. [Wink] I didn't take those pics anyway, (my friend that lives up there took them) so no offense taken. I tell ya what... I'm going up to Filthadelphia the 2nd week of August. I was going Jun 30th but had to postpone my trip. I will go to Independence Hall and be there when they open the doors (first in line.) I'll take pics and see what I come up with. Maybe if i get in there before a bunch of folks go through it, I can get some better pics. I do know that they maintain it (as far as cleaning every night) because if dust is allowed to settle on the historical artifacts, it will ruin them. That's one reason for "museum mounting" of pictures and documents. I do agree with you that people going in and out of there on a busy day like the 4th, would bring a lot of dust into the building. I'm also going on a ghost walk thru the historical district which includes Independence Hall so we'll see what comes of it. Thanks again for taking a look at the pics.

Hugs,
Pate
