Hi there.
As I recently joined this forum I thought i'd be courteous and introduce myself.
I live and work in Sydney Australia.
Though a scientist by heart and education, and engineer by trade, for quite a long while I have been interested in paranormal events and phenomena.
After many years of occasional passive reading and research in the last few months in particular I have started pursuing this and found that it has ignited a burning curiosity (and slight trepidation) for finding out more.
Despite having a keen interest in science and physics I have never seen a conflict but rather a harmony between the two and firmly believe that the most important step to greater understanding of the universe is the admission of "I do not know", and the greatest barrier and arrogance being the statement of "I refuse to believe because I do not understand".
I think my ambition - scientific or otherwise - is the same; an answer to the simple question Why?.
And I admit what has to some extent jabbed me in the ribs in these last few years is the slowly increasing body of scientific knowledge particularly in the areas of dimensional physics which is opening some small windows of possibilities in what may actually be strictly normal.
And of course I look forward to continuing to read more and speaking to all the fascinating and wonderful people I have seen here.
