Whoa. I actually see 2 different things. First off when I looked i saw a mans head with a large nose, sorduve looking in the general direction of the camera.

Upon closer inspection I realize its actually the face of a women with some sort of tall hat on (the upper hat area is where i saw a mans face in). You can see her looking down as if shes laughing? or yelling maybe? and you can see her curly hair puffing out.

Thats what I see atleast.

Good find, its awesome!!!

Hi Amorsang:

I know the image you are talking about - but that image kept shifting when I looked at the pic -- instead I saw this

 - -

Please excuse my poor tracing abilities - but I hope it at least gives a reasonable look at what I'm seeing.

Hey HB, how was the trip?

Hmm very interesting pic you have here. I did not see the man when I first looked at it. I did see a bit of a shadow in the archway though, however it looked more like female hair to me at first glance. In looking at your trace I can now see where you see the man on the left but still can't make out anything on the right. There seems to be a bit of wavy air there (mostly on the left)- odd descripton I know but it reminds me a bit of the wavy air you can see when heat rises, except this wavy air has a bit of a shadow and a form to it. Did you take any others of this archway? Would be cool to see how or if it would have changed. Neat pic, thanks for sharing it. =)

Good pic HB! I saw the man right away.
I started to tell you when you said you were going to San Antonio that when you went to the Alamo, if you had any degree of psychic ability at all, you would more than likely experience something.

Since I was a small child, I could ALMOST see some forms materializing on the left hand side of the front room as you enter the chapel. Each time I go there, I usually experience the same thing. I think the Alamo was such a dramatic historical event with so many intense emotions, the place has really absorbed a lot.

Good pic! Thanks for sharing!

Hi Cat & Carrie!

The trip was amazing, and Carrie I agree the energy at the Alamo is something to be experienced.

Cat I know what you mean about the "wavy" lines. I knew something was there, and I didn't actually see the image until I looked at it from the right side of my monitor rather than directly at it; it's not as clear as the first ~ but it is there.

I went on the Ghost Walk (starts at the Alamo every night at 8:30pm) - it was fun and interesting and the guide is part of Alamo City Paranormal (Ghost Investigators).

San Antonio is a very pretty place lots of history and lots of hauntings ~ I'd like to go back again and visit places I didn't have time to get to.

I see some wavy looking air like Cat mentioned. I also see some shadowy looking marks that you have traced to look like a female face. But that's it! =(

People have a tendency to pick faces and human shapes out of random patterns. This is a perfect example of this... The man's face and woman you are seeing are actually the shadows of branches and leaves from the tree that is visible in the picture.

berksghosthunter, I'm not sure because I can't tell if the wall and the archway are are one. Or if theres an archway leading into a bigger room like this..

Imagine this as a birds eye view and that triangle is the archway. If that is how the room is set up then what you said would be untrue because the shadows would be aligned diffeently and such if some were closer and some were further.

Now if the room looks like this:

___________________
>___________________
You could possibly be right because then the shadows would be all aligned as they are now.

So, I don't know what the room is like, maybe HB could tell us? Is it a long hallway or a bigger room after you go through the archway...

lol, this all may be very confusing..I couldnt really put it any better though.

The archway leads into hallway (for a lack of a better word) - the hallway is about 10ft wide so the image on the left is actually partly on the arch and partly on the back-wall of the hall.

From the e-mail I received from Alamo City Paranormal (who do haunting investigations) - this particular archway is well known for sightings and paranormal activity. I've sent them the full picture - if I hear back from them I'll let you know.

i have to agree with rick because the leaves and branches are in the photo to start with, when you take a picture the flash from the camera creates a shadow from the branches and leaves onto the archway no matter how it is shaped thus creating the effect.

Shadows follow the surface they are cast on, thus if it was cast on the arch and the hallway the shadow would be disaligned.

Whoa, My Mom went to the Alamo this past summer to visit some relatives. She took dozens of pics on just a regular throw away camera (instant camera). I will have to look through them and see if she caught anything, if I do I will scan them and post em. Thanks for the pics, makes me wanna look her pics she took!
