I was mowing my lawn last week. The tractor ran out of gas so I stopped, opened the motor cover and took off the gas cap on the tank. I put the cap on the fuel tank. I then got a gas can and filled the tank. I went to put the gas cap back on and it was gone. I searched the lawn tractor over and over. I moved it to make sure it didn't fall underneath. I even went and got my brother to look for it in case it's one of those 'it's right there in front of you' and you still can't see it occurances.
I just couldn't find it anywhere. So I looked around the yard. I found it about 50 feet away on the other side of the house.
Hmmm. It would seem someone wan't to play a prank on me. I hope they were laughing.

That is so aggravating (and weird) when that happens. I had things go missing at my prior home several times and turn up in really odd places. The spirits that do those little pranks have to have a warped sense of humor. You know they are getting a good laugh at our expense!

Well at least they are doing harmless funny pranks (although I know it's not funny to you at the time) and not something more alarming. Like playing with the lawn mower or putting someting in your way to make you stumble. Hey they could have also kept the cap for awhile. The problem is when things like this happen it makes you feel like you have a had a memory lapse or been a time warp of sorts.

I think when it's my turn to head to the other side I will definitely come back and pull a few pranks of my own. some for fun that will let loved ones know I'm around and others well let's just say there are a few ppl who have caused me a little grief over the years that I would love to play a little game or two with.
