That is cool. I read about them several times while studying spiritualism. They started up when spiritualism became big in the late 19th century.

I've always admired people who are willing to follow their own path even if it meant ridicule or being ostracized by the mainstream. It's great that this place has lasted throughout the years.

Though it does seem to have taken on a more capitalistic kind of hue than spiritualistic.
