We all made it back from our Gettysburg trip. I was thrilled to have my mom with us. She loved the place and wants to move there. She felt a definate connection to the place like I do. Go figure it must run in the family. =) She had a interesting experience on the Sach's bridge. Everyone has always heard about the cold spots and yes it can be close to 100 degrees outside and inside the bridge is cool. The first time mom felt the cold spots and felt a presence. She felt sadness for him and she went and picked a queen's anne lace flower and put it on the bridge for him. She felt he appreciated it. We left and came back two days later and the flower was gone, but the spirit wasn't. I brought my thermal scanner to judge the temperature. It was a very consistent 70' throughout the bridge. No big difference anywhere except a degree or two. I felt that old familiar feeling of intense engery around me. That where your hair stands up almost like electricity feeling. I got my camera out and zap he drained my battery. I had 200 min+ on my camera and zip it was gone. I guess he didn't want me taking pictures. Well I got my spare camera and went to the other side of the bridge and out on the walk to take outside pictures of the bridge. I took some looking in the bridge when my son Adam was in there alone in his walker. Adam has Cerebal palsy and needs help walking. I did get something in those pictures in the upper corner that looks like misty faces. Mom went and picked some more wild flowers and went to leave one for her friend when she felt the intense cold feeling again. Well the thermal scanner went down to 39-40' where everywhere else was 70-71' Well of course she was down where my battery got drained before and sure enough she said try taking a picture and zap he got me again and drained my second fully charged battery. Mom started to step back saying its so cold and when she did she felt a hand on her back massage her gently as to say he was behind her. She wasn't scared but a little shocked. If I can figure out where to put the pictures of the trip I will. I did have some orb pictures in our motel room. Just a few. I was pushing more vacation for my mom then ghost related stuff. Of course you can't help but experience both in gettysburg. Oh mom heard musket shots and drums as well. Mom made a statement that makes sense. Its like time is at a stand still. She said maybe God stopped time there so that people will always remember what was done there so it will never be repeated. So many people have seen blurps in time where they see a scene from the past as if it was happening now. Maybe there is a ripple there or a recording on the earth. Its really a most unique place. It can't be all ghosts not that there is not many of those, but also something else. I must say if you have never been there go! Its a remarkable place. Mom also said its what she imagined heaven to look like. Well that is all for now. I submitted the two photo's to kell and I will send a few other from the room. Thanks y'all for listening.

Mary, I'm just so envious! Are you sure you can't just toss me in a suitcase the next time you go? Seriously, after reading this, I've got the urge to go even more.
What a great experience for your mom, and how amazing about the temperature variations on that bridge! Sounds like a great vacation, I can't wait to see the pics!
