This is a long story..but I will try to shorten it as best I can. I would say it started when I used th Ouija Board but it apparently didn't. When I first used the Ouija Board it was with a group of my friends and we had gotten a few spirits but finally this one spirit came on who's name was Derek. He seemed to take a great liking to me for some odd reason and I just kind of shrugged it off and didn't think anything about it. Everytime me or my friends used the Ouija board it would be the same person or spirit in this case. But they mostly seemed to get him when I was around or if I did it by myself I would only be able to contact him and no other spirit. On rare occasions when I wasn't around and my friends used the board they said he would come to the board asking about me and where I was and just multiple questions about me. So it kind of freaked me out and a incident happened after he told me he gets stronger as I do so it caused me to stop using boards for a long time. Just recently actually I began to use one with my best friend and her cousin. The same guy was there. So I decided to talk to him although he won't tell me or my friends much of anything except for he is 19, American, Caucasion, Black hair, Blue eyes, and that his name is Derek. Thats the only information we are able to get out of him, but he caught my attention more by telling me he knows everything about me and that he has been trying to contact me even before I used the Ouija board so I found it kind of funny and asked a question that only I would know pertaining to myself and I let my best friend and her cousin do it on the Ouija Board since I didn't want my subconscious doing it unknowingly and he answered every single one of them right. I was actually getting kind of scared since he was telling me how he loves me. and protects me, and how he follows me around every where I go, and how he always will, etc etc. And I just kind of brushed that stuff off too until I got some photos developed that me and my friends took and in some photos that I've taken there are vortex's and other unexplainable stuff. We even used different cameras, different films, and took them in different places. So the other day I went through some of my childhood photos and found some other unexplainable things in them that I didn't much pay attention to before. And just recently me and my friends started recalling some weird events from the past that happened when I was around that we sort of just brushed off so I went to a psychic to find out more and they told me something about how the spirit(Derek) supposedly thinks I am his soul mate, which I didn't believe to possible since one, I dont' believe in soul mates, two, I never even met this person before(When he was alive), and three, I can't think of a logical reason why he would come to me. Does anyone out there have at least one brief explanation of what in the world is going on? I thought I might of just brought something bad into my house from messing with the Ouija board but he's never tried to harm me or anything, and he told my friend he backs off when he thinks he is scaring me. Which is weird since after the incident where I stopped using the Ouija Board and such for about 6-7 months I hadn't felt anything, heard any noises, or had any weird occurances and I know it wasn't because of the Ouija Board because there were times after I took notice that he existed where he didn't even need the Ouija Board to contact me. And out of all of this I only actually came to the conclusion of one thing, which was that when I used the Ouija board it only served as a form for him to contact me(So he says) and nothing more. To think that is still only the beginning of it. -.-;

well spirits can come in many forms and sometimes are know to play tricks on people. They can lie just as good as any living person. I'm really not sure what to say of all this, I mean, lets see.. there are spirits that protect us, i believe that 100% but him saying your his soul mate? Come on! He's full of himself!-lol The only other thing i can think is that maybe in a past life you two were an item, maybe you were soulmates then? Whos knows. But that may be possiable. The Ouija board can be a trciky thing, i have heard all kinds of werid stories from them. Wish i could say more, but i dont know what to tell ya.Take care and if i think of someting else i will let you know:)

The first thing I would do is burn the board. It's an open door to all sorts of energy out there and personaly I feel that more often then not (if not always) it's negative ones that come through.

We also project out subconscious thoughts/feelings this way as well so you never truly know if there was someone there each and every time.

In this case - whoever this is that you may have contacted does not sound like one with good intentions. I say this for a couple of reasons - the soul mate comment being one - if someone dear to us in this life or a former life that has passed on wants to reach us they don't wait for a Quija board to do it. Little signs are given, they come to us in dreams etc. and in ways that would not make us uneasy and it doesn't take long for us to recognize who it is. And second you mention you have not been able to get much info about who this might be - why the mask? What a great trick for a negative energy don't you think, build blind trust first before showing ones true self?

I think you should close that door and leave it shut. Sorry, may not be what you wanted to hear. One last note I agree with Green Witch your not losing your mind =)

Anubis, There is an inherint danger in OUIJA boards. Spirits who are well balanced, spirits that love us and protect us don't have a need to contact us except in the small ways like Cat described. Maybe this spirit is your soulmate. Maybe he has some connection with you. Maybe he is keeping other spirits away from you when you use the OUIJA board.
We are only here for a short time. The spirits who are close to us know this and know there is no need to try and make connections while we are in physical form and they are not.
In a great percentage of the time, it's the spirits who through imbalance who don't want to leave this plane are quick and willing to make contact. They will tell you anything to make some sort of bond to you. Please be careful. And please understand it's not the nature of good thinking spirits to make such contacts since they know they are not necessary and the poor thinking ones are the ones who desire any such contact.
Though there are exceptions to everything. Be careful.
Ask him to move on. If he is your soulmate you will see him again very soon (on the eternal timeline) and he has nothing to fear since you will be alright and see him again soon. If he is the good, beneficant and loving person he says he is he will move on. If he doesn't then he has other motives.

Thanks for your replies. I threw my Ouija Board away some time ago but of course he is still here. I do actually believe he has tried to make contact with me before I used the Ouija board in a dream state since the same person who was in two of the dreams trying to protect me this past week is the same person who had been in a few dreams I had some time ago. I'm not sure though, I usually blame things like that on my subconscious playing tricks on me or maybe I seen someone walkiing down the street or something. He told my friend Tanya he would leave if I wanted him to but I"m still researching and seeking advice. I went to another psychic the other day and she told me he was over protective of me and himself and how he hides his fears, and something about him yelling at her and telling her to get away from me and him. But I don't know, I'm starting to think most of these psychics have no idea what they're talking about so I don't think I will be taking a trip there anymore. Usually when something happens that could be explained as paranormal or natural causes I am quick to place them in the natural causes category. I have always been that way from a fear of the paranormal. Recently though nothing seems to of been fitting in that category too well. -.-;

Since you have thrown your board and still feel his presence.....have you tried just talking out loud to him? Find some quiet time by yourself (compose your thoughts beforehand) and tell him what you feel. Do you want to have some space..tell him. He did say that he would go if you wanted him to. Just be sure of what you want before you do anything. Good luck! Keep us posted as to how you're doing.
