Hi.. Just got back from an awesome visit to Gettysburg. I have so many great pics to share with you, but right now its late and I have to go to work in the morning! I will post the two pics that totally blew me away when I saw them on my camera.. they were taken near Sach's Bridge...but in a clearing in a wooded area....some local folks I met took me and my husband to this place, and we returned that evening! It was at least 10 degrees cooler in the area in the daylight...and you could feel the intense energy there. When we got there, we prayed for protection and went down to the spot ... The first thing we noticed when we got to the spot was it was warmer than the 70 degrees it was in the evening air. I asked permission to take the pictures, and said we were not there to disrespect anyone, but to to pay honor to the departed. All the while I was talking away to the spirits I was snapping pics.All at once it turned bone chilling cold and I knew they were close by I could feel them as did my husband. That is when I took the first pic of what I believe to be ecto. and orbs. I have a new camera, a Minolta Dimage Z1 with 3.2 mega pixels. As I looked through the viewfinder and snapped the pic, it automatically shows the pic that was taken within 1 second. I did not see the image with my naked eye, but there it was on the viewer. I about dropped the camera!!!!! I told my husband we needed to go to the car. I went there and tried to get a grip on myself, and then decided to go back down again. My daughter and my friend was standing outside by the car, and when we started back they began yelling something to us. We stopped and walked back to where we could hear them and they said they saw what looked like sparklers a few feet to the right of us as we were walking. Rick and I didnt see this. When we arrived at the spot the air was again warmer. I Started asking permission again, and as before the air became very cold!. I took a few more pics, and after the 2nd ecto and orb pic, something lightly stroked my hair ...from the top of my head to the back of my neck..Well I decided it was definatly time to go!!
What an awesome place Gettysburg is..I want to visit again soon!!

Wow...MysticGypsy...great pictures. I particularly like the first one, it has a yellow orb in it. I have never been to Gettysburg, but would like to take my daughter there one day.
I think if I would of felt something stoke my hair I would of been out of there too. Perhaps the spirits wanted to thank-you for visiting.

I'm sorry to be the voice of reason here. This has nothing to do with the content of the pics.
It's a problem for the board to post such big pictures here.
MysticGypsy, please read the top thread in this forum. It explains what the board owners would like us to do to keep the board in good shape when it comes to pictures.
One of the moderators can help you if you need help posting your pictures in a way that better works with the board programming.

Mystic, =) Sounds like you had a great time! I want to go to gettysburg !!!! I guy I work with went there with his wife a few years ago and he has a nice orb shot. Maybe I can get my husband to take me there next summer . I wish I had seen this post earlier, I would have LOVED to see your pictures !!! But I enjoy your post without the shots !!!!!

Mystic, try using [ URL ] tags instead of [ IMG ] tags to post your pictures. Then you'll get clickable links to the pictures instead of huge pictures on the forum page. I hit this thread earlier but didn't get a chance to examine the pics, and now they're gone!

Looks like I also need to get my butt to Gettysburg... I LOVE having my hair stroked! Those pics are very cool Mystic. Love the ecto. I think those "orbs" in the 2nd pic could be bugs though, since there are so many. The ecto in the second pic almost seems to form some kind of shape but i can't really figure it out. It is almost symmetrical, like some kind of winged bird/bat/monster walking upright. LOL! Nice work!

Mystic, those are great pics! It does look like something is trying to form. I agree that some of those orbs in the second picture may be bugs. Although, the one to the right of the yellow one may be something. Not sure though. (As I'm never quite sure with orbs )

That seconed one to me shows what looks like a caped/heavily robed peron wearing some sort of headress or helmet ? ? ?

Gettysburg certainly is an amazing place. I visited there when I was in high school, and loved every minute of it. I just wish we would have had more time there.

Anyways....one morning our cross country team went out for a run and we actually got the chance to run the battlefield. I could definately feel the presences of spirits in the air, and I was very disapointed I forgot my camera back at the hotel.

Very cool pics Mystic. I captured ectoplasmic mist at Devil's Den when I was there in November. The mist in your pic does look like it's taking on a form of some kind. The soldier orb I captured on cam was at the PA Monument, I wondering if you took any pics in that area. I'd like to see him again. The Triangular Field is also an amazing place to get good pics. I'm headed back over Thanksgiving. Gettysburg is like a bottomless box of paranormal goodies, can't ever get enough. Thanks for sharing your pics. =)

Those pics are awesome, they give me goosebumps! My mother has been to Gettysburg and she said she felt something there in a number of spots, especially at Devil's Den. Also the field where Picket's charge was.
