Hey Peeps:

I spent a day at Eastern State Pen last week when I was in Philly. I got a few pics with orbs. Yall can decide if they are dust or not. (The one near the potty is moving.) I would think if they were dust, I would have had a room full in every cell I went in. It's definitely not the place to be if you have allergies to mold, mildew, dust, rust... it's a fairly creepy place. Anyway, I worked a couple days putting together some pics to share. Savannah, very kewl pics. I've only seen photos of the outside, so thanks for sharing. Creative way you displayed them too. Doesn't look like a nice place to be held captive. lol

Those are great pics and I like the way you put them all together. I'm still trying to figure out how to post a pic on the site but once I have a chance to play with it I'm sure I'll get it to work.

I've been doing some research on picture taking and orb's etc. and man there are alot of varied opinions out there. Saw a show recently with the Warrens on it and you know a couple pics they had shown did not look much different then what I've seen on the board which most of us had chalked up to dust. For example there was one that the picture of the orb was not not that solid at all? I was watching with hubby and I commented to him that if that pic was on SK we may have not considered it a positive orb? Maybe as I have heard others say and have read while doing my reasearch, that the only true way of knowing besides getting one in motion or seeing it with the naked eye first, is when other paranormal type things occur at the same time or around the same time (footsteps, cold spots etc) or it's a known haunted location that has had many things happen. It's likely more often than not we do capture dust, insects or moisture in the air but it's hard to think that that is all it is when you are in a location with known paramormal occurences.

A couple of these pics do have some potential orbs in them I think. =)

I agree with you, Cat. Especially, if you are in a haunted location. I guess it's something no one can really say for sure, as to what is dust and what is not. One way I've started to look at it is, the ones with "substance" and seem to have color or giving off their own light, or maybe have a "rim" around them that appears to be glowing or have fairly distinct "faces" are more likely to be spirit orbs than just the gray "fuzzy" ones. Here is a little orb I cropped out of one of my ghostwalk pics, and it seems to appear in about 5 pics taken after that, but in different locations.



Here is a pic that most people would say are dust orbs, because there are so many. However, this was taken at Washington Square in Philly and Washington Square was a "potters" field, where anonymous bodies were buried by the hundreds. I drew lil pink arrows to point out what I think are spirit orbs as opposed to dust. I think in this picture it is probably a combination of both.
