OK...So I figured that I would start by telling you about what has happened to me in the past and what is happening now.

I would say that my experiences started when I was probably 9 or 10 years old. I shared a room with my twin brother, and woke up one night to see a man standing in the middle of the room. He looked over to me, smiled and disappeared. I never did see him again, but I always felt more comfortable in that house after that incident.

Things quieted down after that until I got into college. I have a couple experiences that I will share with you.

my sophomore year, I participated in a study abroad program in Scotland. This was in the spring of 2000. Part of the program was that we got the opportunity to live in a palace. I saw the ghost in this palace quite a few times, we all called her the gray lady and most of us saw her several times. In fact we were all really comforted by her presence. In one incident though it REALLY freaked me and a couple of the girls out.

During spring break that semester there was only 3 of us in the house during that time and we were sitting in the cafeteria doing tarot readings. All of a sudden the fireplace kind of flared up and we heard a really deep breathing...REALLY loud! it scared us all to the point that we ran outside and sat out there for a while.

My other experience in college was during my senior year. I lived in a dormitory that was haunted. Upon doing research I found out that about 15-20 years ago an RA killed himself in the room directly across from mine. there was also a girl that was walking out of the dormitory one day that was struck by lightning. The area of the dormitory that is most haunted is the hallways and cafeteria/kitchen in the basement of the dorm.

Most recently I am working at a tourist attraction in Wisconsin Dells, WI. In talking to my boss last night we are both convinced that there is a presence in the building, but we havent exactly put our finger on what it is yet. I will be sure to keep you updated on what happens

Thanks for reading!!

Thought I would catch up on your story that you mentioned in your other post with the pic. Sounds like you have had some interesting experiences. I'll bet the gray lady freaked you guys out some. That would have been cool to see though especially given the location - a palace. Now the deep breathing thing - I think I may have practiced my technique for the 100 yard dash.

Thanks for sharing those. By the way what did the gray lady look like? Was she full form or more of an outline ie: apparition like or more solid? So what happened that really freaked you out with her? I take it she moved about the place so was more ghost than an imprint of a past occurence?

The gray lady was more of an apparition...like from the waist up..about 2 feet off the ground...we mainly saw her in the old ballroom of the palace. but a couple of the girls that lived in the palace also heard sounds of a baby crying.

As far as the story behind the castle...Ive heard one..it might be fact..it might be urban legend..Ive never really found out. BUT...there was a story that the Duke of the castle at that time was throwing a banquet and one of the staff was either jealous or an assasin (depending on who tells the story) so she put poison in their dinner, and poisoned everyone at the dinner.

its a brand new attraction...only open for 2 months...its like a big role playing game that you are in the middle of. you gotta go down slides, crawl through tunnels, and stuff like that and find and free 4 wizards by answering questions and clues and stuff...its a lot of fun
