I have a couple of things to mention...first, I have had dreams about planes for years now...in some I'm just walking along & the sky is full of very low flying planes, in others I see them (or just one) crash, but I'm never actually on a plane. My whole life I have been absolutely terrified to see or hear a low flying plane, or even just one way up in the sky gets to me, too, but especially the ones that are flying low...and FORGET about ones on the ground! When I see either of them, I just shiver all over, & if I'm driving & see one, before I realize I'm even doing it my knuckles will be white because I am gripping the steering wheel so tight. My son Brandon used to play on a baseball team out of Knoxville, & they often played in Alcoa, which is where the airport is, so needless to say I had to look at more than my share of planes! Once I was driving along & all of a sudden here came a HUGE Boeing(?) or something, all I know is that sucker was BIG, coming straight at us! Of course it wasn't nearly as close as I perceived it to be, but nonetheless I thought I would have a stroke right there LOL! Anyway, my question is do you all think that the dreams & my severe phobia of planes could mean that is how I died in a past life?....My other thing I wanted to mention is that I have a tendency to dream things that come true, or I'll dream of someone that I haven't seen or even thought of in years, only to see that person the next day...The things I dream about aren't like bad things that come true, its usually something with no signifigance at all, for example I dreamed one night that my niece, who had just moved out of state, had put some hair color on her hair (& by the way, I hadn't spoken to her in a while) & the color had just made big ugly red strips in her hair & she was very upset...the next day I talked to my nephew (her brother) & asked him if he had heard from Tami, & he said yeah, she called last night...I asked how she was & he said, ah, she was all mad because she had put some kind of color on her hair & it messed it up, turned it bright red!... I have had dreams like that about things happening that really do happen, for years now, but theres one dream that I will never forget as long as I live! My mom had only been on oxygen for a short time, & although she now has to wear a mask on her face at night to help her breath, at the time of my dream she just slept with one of the nasal canulas on, with the two little tubes that go in your nostrils to deliver the oxygen to you...anyway, I slept in another room at the time, & in my dream all I saw was Momas face right up in my face, & she said
"honey, you know I can't breathe without my oxygen..." so I sat straight up in bed & ran in to check on her, & sure enough, she had pulled the canula out of her nose during her sleep & it was laying on her chest...had I not had that dream, she undoubtedly would never have woke up...I of course thank the good lord for that one!
But, if anyone has any opinions on my plane dreams, or the others I'd love to hear from you!
Thanks for listening! Clarissa

Hi Clarissa,
I too have had dreams like that but they aren't planes they're ufo's. It started when I was a pre-teen and continued heavly for about some 30 odd years. They weren't malicious or anything, in fact they were actually beautiful! They were of various sizes and shapes and sometimes one would crash when it tried to land. I always had a feeling that they were looking for me. I also dream of things that turn out to be true. To be honest with you I don't know if it could be from a past life, could be that you just shouldn't board a plane? Did the 9-11 incident have a big impact on you? Maybe in stems from seeing the footage of the airplane impact on television? As for the psychic visions I think that's a gift. You know, of course, we didn't ask for this gift but its there and we live with it and work with it. I believe all of us have guardian angels that protect us and aide us along in life, and at times we are meant to help others who's spirit or soul is at a weak point. I dreamt the birth of my son and he came to me the second he was born and told me to come and see him,...he even told me his name! I hope someone else out there has some more answers for you. Good luck and prayers for you and your family. Darkstar

Clarissa, my husband has very detailed dreams about being on a WWII aircraft carrier and being bombed by Japanese planes. His dreams are eerily detailed and he's had them since he was a child. He shrugs off the whole idea of a past life, but I've had a hunch that may be the root of these dreams. Do the planes in your dreams appear to be of modern design, or do they look like they may be older?

I have weird, somewhat psychic dreams sometimes also. I think all people do this to some extent; but for some it is more developed, either through their own efforts or naturally. I've never really tried to develop the talent, so I'm always amazed when it happens!

I dream often and always in color. I have had dreams that have come true and have gained answers through my dreams. I have also had several dreams from the 1800's era which I believe is a recall from a former time that I lived. I have made an effort to remember my dreams and journaling has helped with that.

One of the best books I have read on dreams is Sylvia Browne's book of Dreams. It is simply the best. I have read it a few times and keep it handy by my bed. I recommend highly you read it. Of all the dream books that I have read known has given me the insight to my dreams that this one has. I gained more knowledge of my dreams each time I read it. It makes perfect sense in the way it explains the different types of dreams we have and how to interpret your own. Your dreams are very personal to you and you are the best person to understand them. Dreams that I have had which I would have thought were something bad or omenous before based on some of the dream material out there actualy turned out to be a release dream. I'll bet if you read the book you will uncover for yourself what the plane dream means. =)
