(please don't notice my spelling) i have lived in the same house my hole life except for like 4 year when i got married. now i have bought the house i grew up in and there are so many weird things that happen in that house i don't even talk about most things because i'm kind of afraid people will laugh at me. just wondering.

Hello Shana =) Welcome to the board!

First off...on this board there is NO such thing as weird questions and I think yours is a very valid one. I would have to say "yes" that ghosts can make noises of any kind. Many people have heard ghosties whispering, walking, crying, etc., so why not a sneeze!

Never be afraid to ask or worry people will laugh at you. I would love to hear more of your experiences when you get time =)

Hi Shana.
Yes, Cindy is right, you are in the right house for those type of questions. It is hard to talk to people about the unexplained without them thinking the worst of you. I too am looking forward to your future posts. =)

Thank you so much for your replys. sometimes you feel all alone with stuff like this. even growing up i would try to talk to my mom about things that would happen. she refused to dissuce these things. don't get me wrong she knew our house was at time creepy and there were sounds and thing but she didn't want to talk about it..even now my husband hears things and knows something is there but he doesn't really want to talk about it either. sometimes i think it's my father, he died when i was 15 thats when thing really started getting weird. really things don't happen as often as some people's houses. when i bought the house from my mom, it seemed like every night something was going on. almost like what ever was there was freaked out by my mom's stuff being gone and my stuff now there. it finaly calmed down after a couple of weeks. other than the sneeze and the other noise i don't want to mention the only time i heard voices was one night my husband and i were lying in bed, the baby moniter is on the night stand by our bed. we could both her a mans voice coming from it as if someone was talking softly to my daughter which at the time was just a few months old. now she is 18 months and she jabbers on to thin air.

Hi Shana,
It's good news that you haven't mentioned anything negative connected to these 'noises.'
I can only speak for myself, but others may agree that you can speak openly on this board and we will all understand and try our best to assist you in any way we can.
Do you know the history of the house? It could be other things also,... outside critters, tree branches scraping the house, a noisy furnace. I am not doubting you and I mean no disrespect, but it's good to search all avenues.
My daughter would often go on and on too, and now I can't even get a word in! [Laughing] I bet you two have a beautiful little girl. Take care of youself and your family and we will be here for you.

well i have lived in this house for over 20 years, i know every sound, every creeck, every knock. i have tried my hardest to research every sound that i can't find a source to. when i was growing up my room was in the basement. i had this shelf over my bed, that had the pitcher of the angle watching over the children walk over the bridge. every time i was out doing something i should not have been doing (teenage hoolagens) that pitcher would be lying face up on my pillow. i tryed every thing to figure out how that thing got there. me and my mom would jump on the floor trying to get the pitcher to fall off the shelf. i tryed slamming doors to get that thing to fall off. nothing worked! it didn't happen every day just when i was up to something i should not have been. as if someone was telling me they were watching out for me.. my house is creepy at times but i have never been frightend, well once i guess but that never happend again. one night i was lying in bed. my bed was placed in the middle so you could get out on either side. it's a little hard to explain but the left side seemed like there was something there. like a wall or someone standing there, like there was no air on the left side of me. next thing i knew it felt like someone crawed in on the left side, you know as if some one and put there knee down on the bed. my mind working franticly i think umm the cover just must have came down you know as if there was air traped under them. next thing i felt was the same thing between my legs as if someone was crawling over me. i jumped up turned on the light and shook my covers. i was really hoping it was a mouse or something. but there was nothing there. i think i sat at the head of my bed with the lights on for a hour after that. but it never happend again. i have heard that some ghosts, don't mean to scare you and if they do it won't happen again. all i know is i can't explain what happend but it scared the crap out of me.

Sorry, I have to argue Cindy's first statement. Yes there are weird questions. But when it comes to questions on ghosties the weird factor scales way down. =)
But I agree wholeheartedly with Cindy, Bobbygee and I am sure with everyone else on this board that you can ask whatever question you like.

And you're question is very valid. In my experience I've head lots of noises that had no physical/human source. Giggles, laughter, sneezes, claps, you name it. With the exception of farts. I can't remember ever hearing a ghostie letting one rip. LOL!! =)

It sounds like you've had a lot of experiences with ghosties. You'll feel right at home here.

Welcome to the board.

Hi
like always, i have to aerge with everyone else on everything. first, no question sounds werid on this board (you should read some of my first posts!-lol) second, yes spirits do make noises like people do (wispers etc). it sounds like you father might be in the house or possiably other spirirts. At least they dont seem to bother you and your family in any negitive way. when you spoke about the mans voice wispering to you daugher (on the baby moniter), i thought of your dad talkign to her, watching over his granddaughter =) if you ever have any questions, ask way. we are always hear to listen and help. welcome home =)

Yes, ghosts can make pretty much any noise that a living breathing human can. I don't really understand why a ghost would sneeze though, since sneezing is a bodily function and ghosts don't have bodies. =) On the other hand, I've heard of ghosts coughing.

I suppose though, if someone sneezed (or coughed) a lot in life, especially before death (maybe they died of the flu?), they could possibly leave an imprint that sneezes or coughs.

And no, there's no such thing as a weird question here in the ghosts forum. =)
