Hi I am chris from San Antonio, TX. I am in the air force and a friend of mine introduced me to the idea of EVP a few weeks ago. well, I have read up on it a bunch and decided to give it a try. I have done some taping at the Alamo with one possible that I posted in another forum. so far that is it, but I am still hopeing for more. I am glad there is a place where I can talk with some more experienced people about it!

thanks for the welcome. San Antonio has alot of places that would be good for trying to get EVP's. Old Graveyards, the Alamo, the missions, also the "Haunted Menger Hotel" is in downtown san antonio. There are conventions and studies going on there all of the time. That is the place I want to go to next.

Hi Chris! I love the Menger Hotel, it is one of my "favorite haunts" in San Antonio! My husband and I spent part of our honeymoon there several year ago, and experienced the TV in our room turning off and on by itself. Be sure you go on one of the haunted tours. Also, I don't know if she still does it, but San Antonio writer, Docia Schultz Williams used to do a van tour of haunted sites in the area. I never got to do it, but it sure sounded like fun!
