Well, at least on my end, things have been pretty odd for several months -- I've seen people acting odd, driving crazy, etc... more than usual. I'm avoiding WalMart like the plague, as that is where most of the weirdness in my part of the world is centered.
As for the paranormal -- I did have something really weird happen. Just this evening, we decided to go out and look at the eclipse. I grabbed the digital camera and took a few pics at a nearby cemetary. I think a lot of them were dust particles, but a few appear to be very bright orbs. I'll try to send them to Kell in a few days to see what she thinks -- they were pretty interesting. Anyway, we get back to the house, go into the den, and hubby and I both smell this wonderful aroma of fresh baked bread. I'm smelling it right now as I'm typing. James is a true skeptic, so he ran all over the house trying to find a logical explanation. After several minutes of searching, he came back very perplexed that he couldn't find anything logical.
This is nearing the time that my mother passed away last year, and just today I was rumaging through her recipes. Mom always enjoyed cooking, so I hope she's whipping something yummy up in her new existance! Anyhow, I thought it was kinda neat, especially with it corresponding with the lunar eclipse.
I had always heard both my mother and grandmother refer to this phenomenon as "blood on the moon", and there was always an implication about an increase in the paranormal when it occured. With the eclipse so near Halloween, I can't help but wonder if there has been an increase in activity elsewhere. I'm curious to know if anyone else has heard this term, and if they are also experiencing more unusual things than usual.
