Hi everyone, I have had these pictures for a little while now. I have been busy with art class and homework. I am 40 years old and have homework...I love it =) Anyway...I am looking for opinions about the "orbs". I know some of them are probably dust, but some of them look solid. The picture taken in the attic has a solid looking orb in it and if you enlarge it, it looks like a face to me. Any opinions and comments are welcome...Thanks in advance.

Hi Deb

I was unable to enlarge the pics to get a closer look? Tried a couple things but no luck. The one in the attic is solid looking as you mentioned from what I can see. It does appear there are quite a few in the living room pics so I suspect some may be spots or dust as you mention (small hard to tell). Wish I could comment more but I'd rather try and get the pics a little bigger so I can get a better look. =)

I cropped and enlarged the attic "orb." It is bright and I couldn't sharpen more without causing some pixelization. I can't say for sure what type of orb it is. I'll put it here so you can get other opinions.

Attic Orb:


The "orbs" in the livingroom appear to be dust. There is a brighter one on the left side of the door, which could be a reflection from the little glass dome thing on the table. The other livingroom pic has so many in it, I feel sure those are dust. Here's the cropped pic of the door and table.

Thanks for enlarging and posting the attic orb, Pate. I felt pretty sure that the "orbs" in the living room were dust, but just wanted to make sure...we live in a fairly old house and no matter how hard I try the dust is everywhere.

You're very welcome. I know what you mean, I live in an old house too. No matter how much I clean, it's there. Plus, dust is everywhere in the atmosphere, so a lot of times you can see it in pics, when you don't see it with the naked eye, has nothing to do with how much you vaccuum or dust. Speaking of which, my house could use it now.

LOL...where did you get that smiley....I love it. I take pictures all the time...I have went through so much film...I figure if I keep at it, one day I might just get the ultimate spirit photo. :banana:

I don't remember exactly which site I adopted that smilie from, I have a ton of them. You can right click on any smilies I use and save them to use if you'd like. Just have to use the IMG tag to display them on your posts.
