I took this picture at my mother's house a few weeks after my aunt die. She die in the house. I see 3 faces in 1st picture, 2nd picture is an outline where I see them. 3rd picture is same picture differant area I see 2 more faces, 4th picture is out line

First I just want to say that I'm sorry to hear about your Aunt's passing!

I have to be honest...I see what your talking about in the pictures...but I'm not quite convinced that it has to do with anything paranormal. To me, it looks like some sort of malfunction with the camera itself. Not sure exactly what would cause that though.

I'm interested to get some other's opinions on the pictures as well. Since I'm not an expert in this field

That ok I wanted to hear from you guys. The image in the middle looks like my son wearing a baseball house and a logo t-shirt he passed nov6,2001, and the person to the right looks like a cousin of my mother's. I have always had strange feeling in this house. I am not sure who the other people are. I have had a couple of psyics tell me that there is at less 4 disenbodyed spirits in the picture.

I too am sorry to hear about your Aunt's passing. I've looked at the pictures a couple of times and I can't make out the images you are referring to. I have to agree with Trin it does seem that it may be something with the film or camera that caused this. I have seen other pictures similar to these before and it was determined to be a developing or camera error.

If I may ask, what were you taking a picture of and are these the entire picture or a close up of the area? If they are a close-up it may help to post the entire picture. Any other pictures from the roll have anything else like this in them? What type of camera did you use?

Sorry it seems I have more questions than opinion but it is hard to tell what the pictures are. Thanks for sharing them with us, I too am interested to hear some other opinions. =)

I have a background in photography, and paranormal photography specifically...my first impression is that this seems to be a double exposure- and/or a focal length problem. Would you mind telling me what type of camera you used, the type and speed of the film, and whether a flash was used? This info wold help me in determining the probably cause.
While it does resemble a photo of ectoplasm, or a partially-formed apparition, my opinion would be an error of some type. We are conditioned to see the human face- we recognize people at far distances, for instance- even when eyesight is so poor that distinct features are not discernible. I believe this accounts for many of the claims people make about seeing Jesus in their pasta, or their mashed potatos...I'm not saying that spirits- or even, perhaps, Jesus- don't appear to people, just that it is in our nature to see a face whenever one is suggested by a form. It's certainly possible that your picture actually shows an entity- this is just my opinion. We don't really know much about this sort of thing- maybe spirits use photgraphuc errors to make themselves seen, even...we just don't know.
In short...if you see your son, then he is there- nothing else really matters, does it?

they are definately without a doubt false positives either a defect with the camera, too slow of a shutter speed or a double exposure.

I used A digital camera Fuji 2650 2.0 mega pixels. I need to reload full picture for you to look at. when I made the close up I deleted the full picture will try to put it back on computer for you guys.
I do believe that spirit will use any opportunity that they can. Like white noise for EVPs.

I am in 100% agreement with Wild. I have always said the same thing myself . . . people can see a face in anything if they really want to. The face of Jesus in mashed potatoes, soups, pastas, even tortillas is incredibly common, recently in my town a lady became convinced of Jesus' face showing itself in the woodgrain pattern on her bathroom door, and do you know she is now taking appointments from people all over to come to house to be in it's "blessed presence"?
I know this does not have much to do with your photos Starlou, but take these examples into consideration. When I look at the pictures, I have to be honest, I do not see anything resembling the human form. It seriously looks like camera lens flare.

That is ok I feel it was a fluke too but I also feel that spirit will take advantage of flukes. I see what looks like 3 or 4 figures in the picture that is why I decided to zoom in and lighten it up. I have always felt stange in this house and I have to get it fixed up to sale. I will not go there by myself. This house has been given me wierd feel since I was little it was my grandmothers house.

I've saved the untouched picture and am going to take a closer look at it. It does look strange, and could be caused by any number of things. Ten people can look at it and you could get ten different opinions. One thing I do know, is that I clearly see your son in the other pics. The prom pic you posted of him is so good. I have saved it too and it is him in the Christmas photo from last year. You are right about that. I also hear him clearly on the first EVP you sent to me. Don't get discouraged about this latest photo. If it is a cam or film prob... it doesn't matter. Your son definitely has and probably still does visit you. I believe that from my own experiences and I don't have to have a professional to tell me. I've been into the paranormal since I was 7 years old when I saw my grandmother, six months after she passed. So, I know our loved ones visit. Thank you so much for sharing.

First, I would like to say that I very rarely see the things that everyone else sees, especially faces. I guess you could say I am a skeptic and believe that there is usually an explanation that does not involve the supernatural.

However, I plainly see a figure and face in the pic titled "Face in Mom's House 1" that has been retouched. But now I am confused after looking at the untouched picture of the same thing. What was the picture supposed to be of? There is nothing recognizable in it. It's just a bunch of gray swirls.

If you could give some information as to what exactly you were photographing, it might help. Was that the entire picture as it came from your camera?

I was taking a picture of her living room. That is how the picture came out. Like an inventory picture of items in the house. I feel they were there to take my aunt home. On my camera I can see my aunt's face but I can not see it on the photo in the computer. She is facing all of them and I think they are trying to get her to come with them. When I first notice this picture it was I thought I got kicked in the stomach. It took my breath away. Now I really do not want to go in the house by myself.

So it's not a possibility that there was a person standing there?

Do you by chance have a photo of your aunt while she was living? I'm rather interested in seeing if she looks like the woman I am seeing in this photo.

I got your pic, Starlou. Although the woman I see in the pic does resemble your aunt, she appears to be younger.. maybe 40ish. To me it looks like she is facing us, she is a little chubby, with short hair and a double chin. Then again it could very well be your aunt. Who's to say that our souls don't revert to a younger age before proceeding to the afterlife? I kind of outlined what I saw to see if anyone else agrees. In my opinion this is much more convincing than other faces I've seen on here and other places!

I think that is my son. It looks like he is wearing a baseball cap, white t-shirt and a hoody zipper down sweat shirt. I posted a picture of him. It is on page one. Prom Picture I think is the tilte of the picture. He was 21 when he passed.
