What was the best concert you ever attended?

Surprisingly, Rod Stewart put on the best live show I ever saw. I actually went for the opening act which was Lynryrd Skynyrd. That was good too; nothing like grooving to a live performance of Free Bird.

The only concert I've ever been to was Hootie and the Blowfish, I was escorting my 14 yr old brother, seeing as we had front row center tickets it wasn't too bad [Wink]

hey ghost,
wow,...tough one, but a great question! I've seen alot of shows throughout the years but it would have to be between the stones from '81 or paul mccartney in the late 80's,....hmmm......mccartney!
not only was the music incredible but the people we met before and after the show was amazing. everyone had photos to show and stories to tell. one of the most memorable events in my life!

I've been to probably over 40 concerts. None of them strike me as the best. Many were really good. Some were not. Almost all had good parts. Seeing Jimmy Page play was excellent. Mick Fleetwood was awesome.

To me the best place to experience music is in your local outlets. Go see local bands at local clubs, restaurants, halls, or in people's homes. The best shows and performance, the one that stick out as the most enjoyable were the small local ones. =)
All the times I saw Staind before they made it big were awesome shows.
Seeing friends and local artists play their hearts and souls for you moves me to tears. =)
