Hello everyone,
My hubby got me a koda 5.0 megapixal camera and photo dock for Christmas. I have never been able to get any type of ghostly photo ever before. But, this weekend with my new carema I have gotten a bunch of photo's with orbs in them. They are only in photo's of my house and my mother in laws. After I showed them to my sister in law she went to get her photos developed and they were in her photos that she took the same time. The photos i took at my hubby's side seems to have three orbs in most of the photo's that have them in it. my sister in law thinks she know who it is but in the photos at my house there seem to be more. do you think that each orb is a different spirit or entity? Or dose one spirit have so much energy that it produces several orbs? I don't have much knowledge on this, but ever since I have been trying to read a little more on it. what do you guys think?

It could be, and probably is, dust. Some cameras, especially ones with built-in flashes, will illuminate dust floating in the air near the lens, and these often show up looking similar to paranormal "orbs." Especially since you only started getting them with the new camera.

The best "real orb" shots are the ones where the orb appears to be moving. Or shots taken without a flash. The best way to avoid dust orbs when taking flash photos is to use a separate flash, away from the lens. Either a flash mounted to the camera's hot shoe and angled up, or a flash that is held separately from the camera. Or try and use illumination other than the flash (turn up the lights).

In the case of real orbs, usually one orb represents a single spirit, though a spirit can use energy to manifest itself in other ways, such as ectoplasm or apparition. These are more rarely seen in photos.

If you think you really have a spirit or spirits in your home, try asking them if they want to get their picture taken, and then take a picture, preferably in the daytime without the flash. Then if you get an orb, or a small number of them, they're more likely to be genuine and not dust.

Thanks for your reply, I have been trying to be skeptical about the photo's. I do have one that appears to be moving. It's a bit of a funny story, I was trying to get a blackmail photo of my nephew playing with my 2 year old's toys. My hubby was the one that saw it first. It looks like a moving orb over his head. we decided to try and recreate it thinking it was light bouncing off something else. we have not be able to recreate it yet. I wish I had the internet at my home so I could let you see the photos. I'm going to try and ask what ever it is to let me take it's photo and see what I get. It kind of weird because since I got the camera, I have taken photo's a several houses. My mom's house had no orbs what so ever. My house Christmas day had no orbs what so ever. but sunday at my house there were, and at my father in laws house for his birthday there were. I'm still playing around with it, I might try to figure out how to get my photo's on here so you can see them. thanks again for your reply. shana
