I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them?
I'm not too swift on the computer. I was on one evening looking things up about the VonTrapp family singers. Next thing I hear my dad clearing his throat, and saying Hello? Hello?
I'd have thought it was through CallWave which the kids have installed on here. Nope no number registered. Plus I knew my dad's voice. I'm thimking what the heck?
Next thing you know both my mom, and child come running in here, and saying where is that coming from? It was if my dad was right here. They both said "That was Pop" No question about it.
I suppose this is realistic because of the energy, and all. I'm glad they heard it too or I would have to question myself.

I have heard of things like that happening. On one side of the fence, your computer could be picking up outside interference. I had gospel music coming through my computer speakers for a while until my neighbors moved and I found out it was them playing it and my speakers were just picking it up. On the other side, spirits have been known to use all forms of electronics to communicate like phones and TVs and such.
It sounds in your case that if you and your family knew it was your Dad, then, I think it is possible that he found a way to speak to you.
Have you noticed anything else that may be him trying to contact you?

That is interesting that all three of you heard the voice so clearly. Gosh that must have been a very neat yet startling experience. Sounds like your Dad wants to say Hello. =) I have never had a voice come through my computer like that. I know sometimes the computer will pick the frequency of a two-way radio of some sort but what you experienced was not the result of picking up a two-way radio close by.
Would be great if you can catch a recording should it happen again. Not an easy task though as it likely happened very fast. Do you have a tape or digital recorder with an external mic? If you do try letting the recorder run for awhile in various rooms of your home (if using tapes be sure they are new unused tapes). You may want to also let a recorder run while your on the computer as well. There are a few posts on the board on EVPs that have some good info should you decide you want to try and record. I haven't had anything like that come through the computer but I have through our baby monitor. One night my husband and I were in bed and all of a sudden my husband was like do you hear that? It was a male voice, it sounded like someone was in talking to my daugher very softly. I couldn't hear what was being said it was kind of muffled.
