I wasn't familiar with H. H. Holmes or his crimes until I watched a DVD that I obtained from the library earlier today about the case.

The Murder Castle

He actually sounds worse then ol' Jack in faraway London who was his contemporary

Oooh, wasn't he something!? GAH! I read the book about him and his deeds, Depraved, by Harold Schechter. It's a good read if you like true crime!

Ooh, a DVD! Cool. I'd love to see it. I considered buying it, but was disapointed that it doesn't seem to actually be a movie about H. H. Holmes, plus, it's only 64 minutes long. [Sigh] I may still rent or buy it used though.

Do you know of any other DVDs out there that are actually a movie about his story? (You know, the 2 hour type. [Laughing] )
