Howdy everbody! Greetings from Richmond, Virginia! I am relatively new to "paranormal websites", and I have been reseaching them over the last week or so. I found that this site is one of the most informative, and more importantly, the friendliest of those that I have checked out! So here I am!! LOL
I have had several "occurances" in my life that could be considered paranormal. Therefor, I have always been fascinated with ghosts and hauntings. It's nice to see so many other people who feel the same way, and are not out to ridicule you, or make a buck off of you.
I feel that I should point out a couple of things about myself before I reply to any posts. or make any new posts. This way you will know where I am coming from.
1) I do not feel that I am a "haunted person" or a "paranormal magnet". I do believe that there are times that I have heard or seen things that other people did not. However, after I pointed it out, they were very aware of it.
2) I am an athiest. Many people have condemned me for this, and say that I cannot belive in spirits/ghosts if I do not believe in religion. I say hogwash. The human race has a very primitive knowledge of itself and the world. I belive that ghosts do exist and that there is an explanation for them that we have yet to discover.
3) I try to take a very logical approach to everything. No, I am not a scientist.
Well, all that being said, I hope I haven't offended anyone. I thank you for approving my application and look forward to conversing with everyone!
