My sis had taken some pics with her camera. I will ask her later what kind it was, I know it was a 35mm, with 800speed fild, can't member the brand name. Now the house is actually haunted, I've talked about it before. Many many things have happened in the house. The house is well over 100 years old, and well spirits just seem to come and go. Not all of them are friendly, and not all of them are family. Some show themselves, some just have awful smells, and some you can hear. One way or the other you can tell if one is there or not. They come and go as they please.
Anyways, gettin back on track, she took some pics of my son and mom :aka grandma: This is what we got, no one smokes in the kitchen as Mom has asthma. Just so everyone knows it wasn't smoke. We have ruled out smoke from fire or heat, since they have gas heat and there isn't a vent anywhere near the kitchen table where she was sitting. The pics were taken about 2 mins apart, we were trying to get my son to smile rather than be a show off.

On this first pic there is a streak of light on the pantry door, and the cloud is in front of my son and in front of mom.

In the second pic, the streak of light is gone and the cloud has moved and there is a bright light above her head.
So lemme know what you think all!

i think its nothing more than reflection

I think that I'm going to have to go with reflection on this one. With the first pic I enlarged it and inverted the colors to see the 'mist' better and the lighter color on your son is in a direct line with the lighter bit on the water heater, leading me to believe that it's from the same light sorce, the flash maybe. The line on the cuppord door I think is a reflection from the water heater. It probably doesn't show up in the second one, along with the light on your son and mother moving, because it was taken from a slightly different position or angle. It's easy to end up with different reflective angles, even with successive pics because both the photographer and the subjects of the photograph move constantly without being aware of it.

One thing you mentioned that I wasn't able to see in you second picture was the bright light above your mother's head. I saw the flaws from the printing machine in the upper left hand corner, like in your sister's other pictures. Was that what you were talking about? I also see a lighter spot on the wall that I think is a reflection from the water heater as well. If I'm not looking at the right thing let me know and I'll lookey again. =) Sometimes ghostie's just don't scan well, I've had a couple of pics with various anomalies that showed up great in the actual print but were extremely difficult to see once I scanned them-I could see them but nobody else could, frustrating thing.

I'm going to go read about your mom's house, I don't think I've read it yet.

Good call on the 800sp film. You get a lot of detail with it.
