Hi Carrie and Trinity,
Yes its always an amazing place. I am never dissapointed. Seeing a ghost in the t-shirt place is probably more commen then you think cause if you think about it the battle happened everywhere in the town itself. So most of these places are original or were built on battlefields. I saw something weird too. There was this coffee shop or small restaurant that had a bunch of rocking chairs in the front. It was closed and dark and when we drove by I saw people rocking in the chairs and when I looked back they were gone. Zach saw it too. The town is just loaded with ghosts. We went to tour the Shriver house as well, which is in town. Its going to be on If walls could talk in the fall so keep looking for it. Anyway she told how the lady who lived there with her two daughters was so scared about the fighting in the streets that she took her two daughters and the neighbor girl Tillie Pierce to her parents farm a few miles out for protection. Little did she know she went from the frying pan into the fire. Her parents house was right smack in the middle of some of the worse fighting in the battle. The house was right by Little Round Top next to the valley of death and devils den. Tillie pierce the neighbor girl wrote the most accurate and best diary of her experiences during the battle and after. They all ended up treating the wounded. The house is still there and in one piece. Its called the Weikart Farm. Carrie, you just have to go.
