hey, i was just looking for the definitions of these:
*when a spirit is grounded?
*when a spirit is in visitation

i kinda get the whole residual energy thing but im not sure about what these mean!
i would be really grateful if anyone could tell me!

Grounded (usually referred to as "earthbound" here on SK) spirits are ones who have died but for whatever reason haven't crossed over to the other side. Earthbound spirits are what we refer to as ghosts, and usually haunt a particular location. Most often such spirits experienced a traumatic or violent death, don't realize they're dead, or have some kind of unfinished business or other sort of attachment that keeps them from crossing over.

Visiting spirits are ones who have crossed over, but are just visiting. They don't haunt a place and are free to visit anyone they choose. Usually they visit loved ones or relatives, perhaps to check on them, to comfort them, or just to let them know they are still around.
