Oh I am so sorry to hear this. =( I sure hope the antibiotics work quickly so Pate starts feeling better really soon. Thank-you for letting us know Nor and please keep us updated as you can.

I am so sorry to hear that our sweet Pate is back in the hospital. Gosh, hasn't she been through enough already? Tell Pate I send big soft hugs, and all the healing white light I can muster, using my big healing crystal with the rainbows in it. Blessings to Pate, and I hope she heals quickly!

Hi All:
I'm home again. My leg got a really nasty infection where they took out the veins for my heart. Being diabetic it has been a rough road getting it to heal and I have a ways to go with it yet. It sure has caused me a lot more pain than the heart surgery. I want to thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. I am alive and on the mend, however, slowly it may be. I'm anxious to see what is in store for my 2nd chance at life. I'm still here for some reason.

(((Pate))) great to hear you are home again! Gosh it sounds like the leg infection caused you a difficult time, sorry you had to go through that as well and that it's caused you much pain. You did it though, you beat the infection and you are on the mend. =) You are so right Pate you are here for a reason (as we all are), this second chance you have been given sure does say that there is much more in store for you yet and you have more to do here still. The love and guidance you provide your son pops into mind right off the hop. You are a special person with much to give and many who love you.
I know it's a slow process through the journey of recovery but it's important to take the time necessary to heal completely. We've missed you.

Glad to hear from you Pate! Diabetics do have some additional obstacles in regards to any type of surgery. I'm just glad everything was caught in time!
As Cat said, you are right: Everyone is here for a reason.
Be patient with the recovery process. It takes time and it is frustrating for folks who have had active lives prior to illness. You'll be back to yourself again, it just takes time. Hang in there!
