A new theory by a japanese musician is circulating that Robert Johnsons records may be playing way too fast. Should he sound more like his great mentor Son House? Very interesting article. For those not familiar with Robert Johnson, the story goes that the blues musician supposedly sold his soul to the devil at the crossroads of highway 49 and 61 in Mississippi for fame and fortune,...which he never got to enjoy as he was 'murdered' (poisoned) by a jealous husband and died at the age of 27.
