I imagine hearing those strange noises has been a bit unsettling for your mother in law Carrie. I wasn't able to open the link (my puter is acting up) but the stories sound really interesting.

I've always been interested in the mystery of Bigfoot. Wish someone would obtain undisputable proof of it's existence as there is still much debate on it, despite all the sightings there have been all over the map. Would love to know for certain if Bigfoot exists and if not then what is the creature/animal that ppl keep seeing and hearing?

Along with keeping your eyes peeled, keep a camera handy as you just never know. =)

Cat, the story from March really intrigued me because it sounded just a little like a ghost story. A man was driving down the road that goes in front of our property when he saw something in the middle of the road that was tall and seemed to have long dark hair. He didn't get a good look at it, but honked his horn, thinking it would move. Whatever it was didn't budge. He swerved to avoid hitting it and ended up wrecking his car. Luckily, he wasn't injured.

When the EMT guys got him out, he told them the story, but never reported what had happened. Undoubtedly, one of the EMT guys leaked the info to the owner of the site I linked to and the guy hunted the gentleman in the car wreck down. Basically, the guy didn't know what he saw, but whatever it was just wasn't supposed to be there. He couldn't deny the possibility that he could have had a Bigfoot sighting.

I've always wavered back and forth on the Bigfoot theories. At times, I've felt it was all a hoax and/or the result of overactive imaginations. However, looking at some of these sites and the stories and sightings in so many areas, it does make me wonder. Until someone brings in some good physical evidence, it will always be up for debate.

Hi Carrie, yeah,...a while back i thought I saw something about a 'Texas bigfoot' on the internet somewhere. As far as if they exist? I don't know, but it certainly makes one think? Makes you wonder, with all the sightings, there is no hardcore evidence to prove their existence. I could just imagine the press if one was ever caught!
Apparently another sighting was reported in Yukon, Canada. You can find the article on the front page at coasttocoastam.com

I was watching Bigfootville on the Travel Channel about Bigfoot in Oklahoma. Seems like they are all over and not just in the northwest. I've heard of them being in Illinois

Hubby and I watched that program also. Later, just by coincidence, we drove to the little convenience store, passing one of the houses where a sighting had occurred. James remarked that it almost seemed that the Bigfoot sightings were more prevalent in areas of Native American population.

So many of the tribes, including the Alabama - Coushatta near us, have legends regarding some form of Bigfoot. Are these creatures somehow associated or attached to the tribes? Or, is it because reservations are typically located in rural areas? Just some points to ponder.
