*Spoiler* if you taped it and haven't watched yet don't read as I'd hate to spoil it for you. =)

An opener with some unexpected twists, it was well done I thought. Dang no GSR though.

OMG - I was not expecting to hear Warrick announce he got Married!!! Oh wow Catherine's face was not one of just suprise but extreme disappointment. Knew she had a hot spot for Warrick but didn't think it was that intense. It seemed he was interested as well last season so have to admit this threw me for a loop. I kind of felt sorry for her when she admited to Warrick he killed her fantasy. Can't wait to meet his wife Tina and see how she interacts with team, especially Catherine. I was hoping last season that a main character wld get into a serious relationship with someone new to add some spice so I like this new twist.

Sofia returning as a detective was interesting. I like it, having her work with the team but in a different way opens a few possibilites for her character. I just hope it doesn't mean she will now pursue Grissom as her comment "there are some things I'll miss" (about the lab) was definitely directed at Gil.

OMG - I about hurled when Greg took a face full of the liquid remains from the trunk. Gross! Hmm wonder if they will use that in some way down the road ie: Greg gets some wierd sickness from it? Have to admit I do like Greg and Sara as a team and if there is no hope at all for GSR then a little exploration between the two might be fun, even if it's just flirting and nothing more. I'm holding out for GSR though.

Nick held it togehter ok when that bug crawled on him but they only gave us a glimpse so I suspect we will see more of him dealing with what happened to him in Grave Danger in coming ep's. That tape Gil was sent that he's now secretly investigating will be very interesting. The potential that another person is still out there leaves room for many possibilites. It reminds of the story line with that freak (Paul M - the full name escapes me) Grissom was taunted by who kept resurfacing in cases. I do like the idea of on-going mystery just hope they change it up in how it plays out.

Overall I give the opener a thumbs up and I can't wait for more. [Big Grin] GSR GSR GSR!!!!

I liked it too. Catherine had it coming, I was pretty happy to see it. She wasn't a very likable character last season so now that that's over and done with hopefully I can go back to liking her again. I wasn't surprised by the Warrick development because I've been reading the spoilers, I knew about it already. I can't help myself. [Embarrassed] I have to say that Warrick looked especially scrumptious in this ep, but when doesn't he?

Sofia, well truthfully I've always rather liked her character except for the Grissom fascination. She need's to stop that! I acted incredibly juvenile and shouted at the T.V. when she did her flirting thing, I'm sure there was steam coming out of my ears. I thought the way they brought her back in in this ep was rather clumsy, the accidental meeting sort of thing, but I enjoyed her the rest of the show. Watching her and Sara interact is pretty funny. I loved Sara's line 'Your a detective, go detect.' Ha! They seem to work together just fine, but underneath there's that slight grating. We know that Sara is aware of Sofia's 'Grissom' thing and I expect that Sofia is aware of Sara's 'Grissom' thing which is probably causing that slight friction.

The Greg thing was totally gross! We've had liquid man in season 2, soap man in season 3, and now the trunk people. This was the story line that I wish had gotten more time. It was over too quick and a lot of details were left out. I too have always like the Greg/Sara interaction though I don't see it ever being more than friends. I'm holding out for GSR too, I'm not giving up.

Cat, your thinking of Paul Millander. That was a good story line and it does look as if they are doing something similar with this accomplice on the tape. It will be interesting to see how that develops. Poor Nick, he's already been stalked by his psycho cable guy. [No]

I give it a thumbs up too. It looks like it's going to be a good season. Not only was I excited to see this ep but I think that I also enjoyed it more because I wasn't really expecting any GSR, made it much easier to relax and just go with the flow. There is potential GSR coming though- That's all I'll say.

*edit- I had to add this. That pole dancing class looked cool. I wish someone here offered that class, it would be so much fun. The look on Vartaan's face as he was watching it was hilarious. [Laughing]
