Just thought I'd drop a quick note. I've been really busy, between work, side jobs and the house which is still about a month away from being finished, grrr... so that's why I haven't been posting much lately. And of course, by the time we do finally get back into the house, it'll be time for holiday fun! Hopefully 2006 will be a little more calm. No, make that a lot more calm!

Anyway, Heather and the kitties are doing fine. Chica's a porker at 14 lbs. and Squeaky is growing up fast! They love each other though, it's cute to watch them play. And Heather, I just can't help but love her to death! I need to update my website but that's something else that requires time that I don't have!

No new ghostie encounters either, or even any interesting dreams to post. I'm trying the meditation thing but with having next to no time, it's hard... hopefully after the dust settles I'll be able to put a little more time & effort into it.

Just so you know I'm still alive and kicking! I think... sometimes it's hard to be sure!

Good to hear your still kicking and I know what you mean when you say sometimes it's hard to be sure.

With all you have on the go you likely sleep so sound that even though your dreaming the memory of them stays in dream land. It's also hard to settle the mind and meditate when your mind is filled with tasks at hand. Like you say hopefully 2006 will bring some calm, you guys will be settled in your new home so I'm sure it will. I have to say it does sound like your handling this busy time well though. It sure seems this year has been a busy one for many, I'm betting lots of ppl are looking forward to the new year, I know I am.

Just for a little note of fun: 2006 is a World year of 8. The number 8 is a money number so it will be interesting to see how the coming year will influence things on the financial front. =)

Isn't it great how our furbabies can bring us such joy no matter what we are dealing with. I love watching my kitties play too, during those moments the 'to-do' list just disappears. =)

Kevin, it's good to hear from you! I'm so glad that you'll be able to get into your house soon, even though a month probably seems a good way's off to you it's just around the corner. =) ((((hugs)))) to you and Heather, tell her we said hi, and scritches for the girls. Tell Chica not to eat so much. I'm glad that they're such good friends.

Yeah, Squeaky has taken to purring on the bed in the morning and nuzzling us! =)

And I had an interesting dream this morning. Nothing psychic or paranormal about it, but for some reason it was about U2. You know, the group. Bono was even mentioned in the dream. I don't get it. Maybe my subconscious telling me what CDs to listen to today?

Hey Kevin maybe your dream means your going to win a U2 CD or better yet tickets to a concert. So did the dream prompt you to listen to U2 afterall? Did you ever start a dream journal btw?

I love it when my kitties nuzzle too. The youngest of our 3 sleeps next to me (usually ontop of me lol) and he often won't sleep in the bed unless I'm there. He'll be sleeping on a chair in the family or dining room and if I head to bed within a few minutes he's there. Must have a built in radar or something.

Nope, didn't win any U2 tickets. =( No dream journal, either. Things are just tooo crazy these days.

And now it's November (ick), and we're STILL not in the house! Hopefully by mid month we will be, but this is getting ridiculous.

I went to my favorite haunted sandwich shop for lunch, and had "that feeling" while I was there. I haven't felt that in quite a while, good to know I haven't lost my 6th sense in all this madness. I need a ghostie fix.

Sorry that the house is taking longer than expected, I can imagine how frustrating it must be. Well I guess one way to look at it, hopefully the delay means they are paying attention to details (doing quality work) vs rushing to get it done and then you end up with things needing fixing or tweaking afterwards. Soon very soon you will be celebrating in your new home. =)

Hmm "that feeling" again. Wonder what you were picking up on? What is the story behind the sandwich shop? Sounds like you are ready for a ghostly adventure. Maybe go back and see what else you sense or visit other known haunts or cemetaries and take your camera and recorder with you. =)
