It is commonly believed that the toilet was invented by a man who's name was actually
Crapper, but is this a myth?

[Laughing] The good ol crapper tale. Ya I've heard that some believe Thomas Crapper invented the toilet but truth is he didn't. He was a plumber by trade in England and he did have 9 patents for different inventions but none were the flushing toilet. Wikipedia states that a Sir John Harrington recieves the credit along with Alexander Cummings. So I guess it's a myth. =)
