I really like this show. Anyone else watch it?

I catch it every Wednesday night! It's just so interesting to me how they approach ghost hunting. And I love when something unexplainable happens to Jason, the look on his face is always priceless!

I watch the show. I also find their approach interesting, and it is interesting to watch the dynamics amongst the team members. Jason is a grump, but a very likeable one. Trin is right, the look on his face is priceless when something happens that he just can't explain.

I don't always agree with some of their findings or methods. I personally feel they are a little too quick to dismiss orbs, and I'd like to see them work with a credible psychic on some of their investigations, just to compare notes. It is a fun show to watch and I always tape the episodes.

I love this show, I watch it every week. I also think they are a little quick to dismiss orbs, but on the other hand it's good to be a skeptic somtimes. Like that episode when they were on the Queen Ann ship,(I think that was the name) and someone messed with the camra. Did you see that one? Where someone was trying to make it look like a ghost had pulled the sheets off of the bed. My heart droped when they found out someone had played a trick on them.

I also saw that episode and the women were so excited about watching the video of the sheets moving off the bed. What I found odd is that they would dismiss it just based on the little jump in the video. Who says a ghost can't interupt electronic devices? I don't know, it probably was a someone messing with them...too bad though.

That's a good question, because really ghosts do interupt electronic devices. But I think the main thing on there mind is credit. That's say they thought it was real and then maybe someone came out and said the messed with the tap. Then they really wouldn't be creditable. people would think that these guys really don't know the difference. I think they need to change the way they do things a little bit, then they wouldn't have to question weather the equitment was messed with or not. But I do think you have a good point.

I don't get GH so have not seen the show. =( I hear last years ep's will be out on DVD soon so I'm looking forward to seeing them.

I know I can't comment on the show itself however I've read alot about it at a number of other sites including at the TAPS and Sci-fi so thought I'd join in the discussion.

It sounds like it's really good. Carrie I've noted others say they don't agree entirely with their methods and perhaps they overly debunk things. I can understand why they have to be really certain though, any error will have the skeptics jumping all over them.

I also don't agree with their dismissing of all orbs either, there is no evidence that proves certain orbs are paranormal in nature however there is also no evidence that proves they are not. It's interesting in viewing the sites of all the taps affliated groups that not all agree and continue to examine and present orbs as possible evidence. Perhaps because they are common, some can be recreated and there are lots of pics of dust orbs on the web that ppl believe are pn, they now stay away from them?

Strange though considering many other anomalies can also be recreated and are fairly common like mists, ribbons, vortexes, shadows for example. Much is subjective really, so no matter what these guys or others capture someone will find or claim they know what caused it or say fake if they can't. lol

This is only one groups point of view and I feel there is some danger in allowing that to dictate how ppl approach this field and view evidence. To many unanswered questions to follow just one method. IMO.

I look forward to seeing what everyone is talking about soon. =)

DARN! Wish I was able to get the show. In reading comments about this weeks ep I see there was some very interesting evidence captured. The thermal image camera picked up what appeared to be an apparition which they were unable to recreate. Someone posted some clips from the ep showing this and it was pretty darn cool. Have to be honest I'm hoping they are not able to debunk this as how exciting it would be to have a reputable group capture something like this that cannot be explained by science or die hard skeptics. I am imgaine though it will need to be tested and analyzed to the max for many reasons.

For those who saw the ep I am very curious what your thoughts are on it? =)

Thanks Rick I'll be looking for you guys if I'm able to get the DVD. I'm guessing I'll have to get a video store to order it in as they usually only stock shows that air here. Did you find anything interesting at the Topton House? Will you guys be apart of any future ep's?

Are you willing to share any thoughts on the thermal image capture from the last ep?

I'd think you should be able to get a copy of the DVD... i know there are some dealers that have it for sale on Ebay. Unfortunately what we did find at the Topton House ended up on the cutting room floor.. but those are the breaks i guess. We didn't participate in any filming for season 2 but filming for season 3 has gotten underway so maybe we'll end up doing an episode or 2 for that season, who knows =) I've been so busy lately with our yearly fundraisers that i missed the last episode of Ghost Hunters, i heard the thermal image was quite interesting though =)

wOOt! I'm glad to hear that they started filming season three. Hopefully we won't have to wait as long for that as we had to wait for season two!

Cat, I so wish you got the SciFi channel, I really think this would be a show you'd enjoy.
