I was listening to the TV last night when they announced Rosa Park's passing and thinking to myself the amazing impact this lady had on our world. She didn't set out that day long ago to make any statement, she was just a tired seamstress on her way home from a day's work. With her quiet refusal to go along with the norm, she changed the way American's and other nations lived their lives forever. Truly amazing when you think about it.

I can't be sad at her passing.

I think she was a wonderful, brave, courageous and inspirational woman. Thousands of others have acted with courage as she did and suffered for it too. But she became a visible figure. A person to look to for inspiration or revilement depending on your point of view.
However you view the issue of race in our world you have to honor Mrs. Parks for her courage, character and spirit.

For me, she was a hero. Not someone who did a brave thing in a moment of crisis hero. But a hero who did the right thing now. In the moments of our lives when it counts the most. In a time when it helped bring about change for the better. An everyday hero and then some.

The world is a little bit less without her. She was a credit to the human race.

God bless her.

Ill never forget her.
