Hi Clarissa, nice to see you again. =)
I'm no expert but what I have come to learn is that the most important thing you can do when looking at your pics (or others) is to rule out all possible causes for any anomalies noted. Even if there was unusual activity noted at the time you were taking the pic (or was the reason you took it) it's important to remain objective. It's also good to seek other opinions as well as sometimes someone will note something you may have overlooked or not considered. =)
The squiggly lines can at times be potentialy paranormal however often they are caused by a light source (lamp, street light, headlight etc). Even if there is no notable blur in the pic the slightest movement of the camera when a light source is present can create this effect. Lens flare or reflection of an object can cause some of the odd shaped anomalies. Hair on the lens or in front of the camera can cause odd anomalies as well. The flash reflecting off hair can make it look like a string of light with little orbs in it.
Take a look at Mendys orb vs dust thread as there is some notes there on how to tell the difference. With mist there are a number of things to rule out. Smoke (including from a grill, bbq), steam in a bathroom or kitchen from hot water or cooking, if outside breath can cause a mist effect (even if you can't see it, so always hold your breath when taking pics), weather can be a factor, sometimes glare or excessive dust (blown around from a fan etc) can resemble mist in a pic. I've even seen pics where pixelation was cited as the reason for a misty look. Not that those opinions were correct but something to consider. There are other camera related things to consider as well.
Even when you rule all things out and no one has an explaination you may still have opinions that say nothing paranormal as some believe it's rare to capture true pn in pics. I don't know if that's true or not given we how little about how pn shows in pics.
Hope that helps a little, looking forward to seeing your pics. =)
Edit note: sorry forgot to answer your question on posting pics. You have to download your pic to a site that hosts pics like photobucket for example first. Photobucket is free a site but you have to register to creat an account. Once you load your pic there an url (link) will be generated which you can use. It's located below your pic. Once you have an url (see Kell's post again for the example of how it looks and how to add the name of the pic so it shows vs the long link if you prefer) copy it and then paste it here using the url button located below (under UBB code). A window will pop up that you paste the url link into. If you want to put the pic on your post vs providing a link to it then you copy the IMG link instead of the URL link (photobucket generated one) and click on the Image button below vs the URL button. Hope that helps. =)
