Mom passed away back in June after a long battle with cirrhosis and God only knows what else. Although she has passed on she still makes occasional visits to check up on us...
Mom was a firm believer in spending as much time as possible at Wal-Mart, and God forbid you go there (or anywhere, for that matter) without checking to see if she needed to go. A couple of years ago Dad got her a miniature Wal-Mart shopping cart and a piggy bank for "Wal-Mart Funds". I'm almost certain it was mom because I jokingly told her to knock it off with the perfume and the smell faded away.
No matter what anyone else would say, I say mom was there checking up on her grandkids - some of her last words to us (we all knew her time was limited) was to take care of those kids. She told me that, and she told my sister to help take care of 'em too. And she said she'd come back and haunt us if we didn't...
