Sorry for all the questions but when your dealing with paranormal (rather 'possibly' paranormal) it's important to have any and all details available of any activity and/or experiences noted. Keep in mind others can only provide an opinion based on the information given, because it's important to remain objective (not just jump to a pn conclusion) questions will be asked while trying to help determine what this was. =)
Whenever I've experienced something unusual the first thing I do is try and determine what may have caused it. For example a light flickering may be due to faulty wiring, a loose electrical connection or even a bulb not fully screwed in.
Don't worry about a post being lengthy as it's not always easy to describe things and I know I would rather have someone give extra details vs not enough. It's the same with looking at pics, having a pic posted with details ie; where it was taken, the weather conditions (if outside), who was there, any other activity noted, camera settings, flash no flash etc etc makes it easier to provide an opinion vs a pic with little or no details. Now this reply is getting lengthy

but just trying to help you out. =)
Ok even though the blinds may eliminate a light from the outside still consider reflective surfaces within the room. A white computer screen can even provide just enough light to cause a wee reflection off something close by it. I had that happen once, turned out to be the glass of water I had sitting next to me it was still close enough to the monitor that when the screen turned white on googling (was looking at darker screen) I caught the reflection of the light in the glass in the corner of my eye. LOL Don't get me wrong I'm not saying this wasn't something possibly PN in nature, again just suggesting you try to consider ALL plausible causes first.
Feelings we get sometimes can make us feel uneasy, but keep in mind the vast majority of times this is not a negative energy but more likely a spirit visitor (a loved one) and they certainly don't mean to scare us. Even with hauntings, the activity noted is not always due to the ghost trying to scare someone, often it's simply the ghost trying to get our attention. No matter what the intention is though it's the unknown factor that usually scares us. You can always try asking whoever is there to leave that this is your home not theirs, or if you believe it to be a loved one visiting just let them know you would prefer they not do anything that might scare you, you'd rather they gave you a little sign so you know it's them. Hope all this has helped some, I'm also hoping some others here will have an opinion or some advice they can give you. Let us know if anything further happens. =)
