My cousin came over and we had the same one that was in my room appear as a shadow, I got scared and ducked down so really didn't see any of it. Then I got really upset and he/she came over and touched my shoulder. Then we ran out. We slept in the living room type area outside my room, and found that there was like 4-5 ghosts in there. I could feel them moving around and see light shadows while my cousin clearly saw the shadows. See she can see them and hear them while I can feel their pressence and if they touch me. Once we calmed down, we started talking to them. They said someone died in my room and that's why they are in there so much. Also, as many of them as there were, only one knew how he/she died. They had trouble talking and so couldn't say how they died, but they said Kayla and then we think the last name is short. THey said she was alive and in California. We didn't get far enough to find out why they gave us the name tho. They listened to us tho. We asked one to go to the bathroom and make some sort of light and we saw a small blue spark in the bathroom. Then they would sit by us or touch us or just walk around. The only problem is that when we asked who died in my room, they only pretty much yelled Satan in my cousins ear. Then she like freaked out and was fine. Then we told them we were done for tonight and needed to sleep. So we're just a little confused and scared about that. Only thing is, I had just gotten to be able to sleep in my room again lol. The funny thing was that they would go into my brother's room and mess with him, tho he didn't wake up. They're still around too. The cat seems to liek them as he slept in a chair near us. The dog is unsure, but she can see them. She came down and was watching them move around.

so ya.....any advice? We're going to try to ask for their ethenticity and such tonight if she can stay again.

Just a lil update, it seems we kind of 'called' on them. Now that my cousin's gone and I can't talk to them really, they've all gone. All that's left is the original one (same pressence) and maybe one or two others just hanging out.

She's coming over for thanksgiving so I think it'll start up again.

Check the local paper to see if someone died at your house. Ask them again on Thanksgiving for some more info about it. If it is unresolved, maybe they will lead you in the right direction.

thx I hope so. Though they have troubles talking. Only like a word or two. As for someone dying in the house, it was built in the 80's and we know the owners before so I'm sure no one has died. I'm thinking it's probably someone from a long time ago that the house was built over or something.

If you really want to learn about the property you can go to the county courthouse and look up the property at the register of deeds.
You can find out who owned it back to when the land was first homesteaded.
As far as the date not being old I've been to many new cemeteries to transcribe them, they have spirits there. Something was probably on the property before your house was built.
Try doing an evp to see if you can catch them on a recorder.

How do you and your cousin communicate with them, are you using a Ouija board by chance? What do you mean by you see light shadows and your cousin sees full shadows, are they blobs, full bodies, any features etc? Has anyone else in your home seen them at anytime? Just for clarity, your cousin heard them audibly but you didn't? Sorry for all the questions but I can't say I've heard of multiple entity interaction like this before that involved seeing, hearing, touching and responding to requets etc so just trying to understand a few things. =)

Cemetary watcher gave good advice on researching the courthouse archives for information. I agree you may be able to capture some EVP's, actually with what you described I think you have a good chance of getting one. But like any form communication one does with spirit be sure to protect yourself first. With your both seeing shadows as often as you did, you also have a very good chance of capturing something interesting in paticular if this happens again. Take two from each direction/angle so you have a control shot to compare with. It's good to take note of lighting and things that may cause reflections which can create false positives.

To me spirits are loved ones who come to visit us, and we also have our spirit guides who are always around us, so it doesn't matter how old a home/building etc is. Earthbounds (ghosts) tend to be noted more so in older locations or they remain attached to what was once there (for whatever reason) but there have also been reports of earthbounds in newer homes/buildings etc. Malevolant entities (negative energy) are not associated with any type of place in paticular, they look for open doors or invitations of sort and prey upon our fears. Just my opinion.

Have you also tried to rule out all plausible explanations for what you experienced? Not saying you didn't experience something just that some things may have an explanation. Oh did anything interesting happen on Thanksgiving? =)

no we weren't using a board. We will never either! lol they scare the heck outa us. See my other cousin (older) had one, and while she did, she had things moving. Like she'd put away her daughters toys, then a little later she'd find it on the sofa or something. ONce she got rid of it, it was fine. Plus they can easily attract dark spirits. Once again, I know it's unheard of, I'm sorry if sounds so fake =/

What I mean by the shadows, is that she can see them mreo clearly. I can see things out of the corner of my eye, but not anything else. She sees the shadows a little darker, but niether of us got a full view. As for shapes, we think at least one is a guy. You could almost see an outline, but it was so ver light it was also possible we were imagining it. No one else has had any that I know of. My brother wouldn't be able to, he doesn't pay attention enough or something. He just can't. My mom and dad have had expeiriences before, but not in this house. Actually, the spirits don't really like them. Like when my mom came downstairs once, they left the room. Then when she left, they came back.

As for hearing, it kinda weird. It's more of a supersonic type thing. Many ppl can't hear them, some can that I know. It's really hard to explain really.

Well there's not much that could have happened. I felt a hand on my shoulder that one time for sure. It was a pressure. Then, like I said, we had our dog come down and she would look in the direction that we thought there were in.

I don't know, but it seemed liek they just showed up. because now, there's only one or two. I don't know really.

I'm sorry to say she couldn't come over for thanksgiving as was planned. My aunt and her uncle dislike each other so they went to her stepmother's side of the family thing instead. It's funny how the older you get, the more immature and kiddy you can seem to others lol.

It's just, I really don't know. heck I could even be going temporairly insane and be imagining them which my dad not so kindly pointed out lol. He was joking tho.

Many times I just see shadows to the side of my vision or feel a pressence. That's all for now. And I'm sure my cousin isn't making it up since she knows how much this can scare me. But ya. All in all, all I know is that they aren't negative, maybe confused? still.

Have the camera ready, ask them if you can take their picture.

well no. we don't have a video camera =/

and when I ask them, they don't listen. They'll come to see what's up, then scram when they see the camera.

At least I think. Sometimes it's hard to know where they are....

Hi Raven Feather, I think that you've been given good advice here. I do think that earthbound spirits can be confused. I also think that there may not be as many as you originally thought. It's possible that through the excitement of your cousin being there, your fright and the spirit's confusion that things might have gotten rather muddled. I think that it's possible for excess energy to give a confused spirit more 'strength' that they're used to, much the way that there tends to be more spirit activity during thunderstorms than at other times. If the spirit activity is frightening you then I would take steps to calm the enviroment. I, personally, like to burn sage and incense. I don't use those things because I believe that they have any sort of 'magical' properties but because they are very soothing to me and soothing my own mind will help calm other's. So find something like that that appeals to you, be it religious ritual, candles, music, whatever. I do hope that things settle down for you.

aww thx! but I did some research. it seems we ended up doing a seance of sorts. and thats why others seemed to come. as for them talking, there were times when my cousin almost fell asleep for no reason and it seems they were talking to her that way. if you could call it talking at all.

as for everything else, well things have been quiet except for the occasional feeling of being watched and the rare moment of being touched (only twice so far)

it's weird, this all started as soon as I tried meditating again. I had stopped for a while since I was busy. My friend who's grandma is a healer said I probably unclogged my third eye. It's really interesting ^^ lol
