[Jump] I hope I am posting this in the appropriate area!

There is a Haunted House in northern Wisconsin Called Summerwind Mansion. There are a few websites that have information about this place that I thought might be of interest.

They have just recently aired a documentary about it on the Discovery Channel and some air dates are still available in December.

Without being too long on my first post, you can visit this website for more information about Summerwind!

Hi Scholastique2

A very interesting place with much history (PN and otherwise) and what an awesome building. I didn't realize the former Lamont Mansion is now known as Summerwind. There is something familiar about it, not sure if someone had noted it before in post or posted pics of it in past (I'll have to browse back and see if there were)? I may also just be recalling something I've read on the web before.

I still need to read all the info at the link you provided, but it sounds like the home is still occupied? Is Summerwind the new home that was built after the original burnt to the ground? Sorry if this info is on the site somewhere but is the home open to the public at anytime, it would be an awesome place to tour? I see you live in the area, have you been to the home, even just to view it from the outside? I'm curious about what tales you have heard about the ghosts that reside there and the types of PN activity ppl in the area may have experienced?

Btw - I opted to move your post from the books/movies/music forum seeing Summerwind is about ghostly hauntings and is a place that someone may have experienced. No worries on how long a post is, there is often lots to tell with respect to haunted locations and/or personal experiences. =)

Thanks for sharing this, I look forward to reading more about it and hearing any stories others have to tell. I'll be keeping my eyes open for the documentary, it will be a very interesting show.

Cat, =)
