Don Knotts dies at 81[/URL]
When I was a kid I always loved his movies. Don Knotts and Tim Conway could always make me laugh. I loved the Apple Dumpling Gang, The Incredible Mr. Limpet- which really made me want to see what it was like to be a fish, and The Private Eyes- which was so hilarious that I couldn't stop laughing. And of course The Andy Giffith Show, that has always been worth a watch whenever I come across it.
**Edited to add- I just heard that Darren McGavin has passed on as well. He was in my very favorite Christmas movie "A Christmas Story". Hubby and I have to watch it every Christmas. McGavin was awesome as the father and I get a kick out the fight with the furnace and the "cloud of profanity that's still hanging over Lake Michigan today."
They will both be missed. Laugh on guys.

=( .......
2 of my all time favorites. They will be missed.
A favorite line from each:
"Nip it in the bud"!
"F-R-A-G-I-L-E. Must be Italian"!

As a child my favorite ghost related movie, was "The Ghost and Mr. Chicken" starring Don Knotts.

Barney 'One Bullet'
was always one of my favorites -- Don Knotts was an incredible comedian actor. His "nervous" character was priceless. He will indeed be missed!
