Hi everyone! It is Sunday March 19 and it is Still around 30 degrees here in Ohio! I don't know how much of this I can take!

Ds (4) and I are going stir-crazy! We did go outside today for a few minutes because at least thank heavens the sun was shining. We made a wreath for the birds with long strands of nubby yarn on a grapevine wreath. We made it very loose so the birdies could take some stands and pad their nests with it and make them soft. After hanging the wreath we went inside because the wind is still wicked - it was too cold to stay out for long.

It seems this board has been very slow. I hope everyone is doing well. I don't have much to post since I don't have any experiences with ghosties so I'm living vicariously (sp?) through the rest of you that do! I'm too chicken though, so I'm not complaining. I do read the Heartache Hotel section and I just feel so bad for our Spiritkeep friends that are having so many problems. I hope everyone is doing better.

Take care everyone! Madammacabre

Spring fever - oh ya, definitely ready to trade the boots for sandals and the shovels for lawn mowers. [Big Grin]

We had a really decent winter weather wise so can't really complain. Lots of snow this year but at least the sun was out many days and overall the temps were much nicer than what we had last winter. It's great to hear the snow melting though. Seemed spring was starting a cpl weeks back but it was a bit of a teaser as we got a bit of a cool spell for a few days. Today was an awesome day though, and looks like we are in for a good week coming up. It was my son's b-day today, the 4 of us went out for dinner along with my folks to a nice Japanese restaurant, then we went to the casino for a wee bit. Haven't been to the casino in a long time so it was fun, we all returned either even or up a little. [Big Grin] Kind of makes you feel old though when your kids reach the age that they can go to a casino with you. [Laughing]

Ya it has been on the quiet side for a while but it's nice to see some folks posting again who have been away for a bit, and it's always nice to meet the new folks that have joined us. You know even though you may not be having any paranormal experiences, we would still love to hear your thoughts and opinions on things that are posted. I always enjoy hearing different folks view and/or opinion on things, no matter if they've experienced something or not, it adds to the discussion and it can also be a way for everyone to get to know one another a little better. =)

Ok Mother Nature, my chicken white booty is ready for some sizzle action, so bring on the heat!!! [Booty]

No spring fever for me! Of course it doesn't get as cold here, mid 30's at night. I'm enjoying the cooler weather because summer brings 100+ and I don't have airconditioning in my car and running the wall unit air conditioner in my appartment is mucho expensive. But I do like the "California Days" in spring, the mid 80's with the hazy, pale blue sky. Those really are my favorite sort of days but I'm in no hurry.

It has been slow here, so post away at whatever you like Madammacabre, no ghostie required. =)

I've already been wearing sandals. Temps here have been in the low eighties, so here along the Texas Gulf Coast it is a great time of year. I'm dreading the heat and hurricanes this summer. [Nutty]

Spring is defenitely in the air here in NC! Most days, we're already wearing flip-flops! We haven't had hardly any kind of winter. Not even the first good winter storm! All I have to say is..."thank goodness for Allegra"!! [Big Grin]

Know what you mean. Here in Tucson, we had really a really warm and dry winter, then the weekend before and the weekend of spring we dipped down into the 40's and it rained! Today (03/25/06) it's supposed to be 83*...go figure! Since I have a new house and lots of things to do in the house and on the grounds, today will be perfect weather for such things [Jump]

I definitely have a bit of spring fever. We also had a little teaser a few weeks back, then of course, back to cold weather. Honestly, I can't complain too much, our winter was pretty mild this year. But seeing some of the trees start to bloom and some of the flowers peaking their heads up always gets me in the spring time spirit! [Big Grin]

Eh, well, yeah. It wasn't a bad/too cold winter here in Phoenix, Az., but I get cold easily. [Laughing] And I LOVE Spring!!! It's my favorite season. Hope you all in the colder climates warm up soon! [Wink]

I had to jump in here for a second post. There are some cool spring things going on. Since yesterday morning we've had a baby hummingbird take up roost in a little sappling tree in our back yard. He's so small! Barely bigger than the end of my thumb. His parents are still watching over him and come by to feed him now and again, and this morning he was brave enough to buzz away from his tree for a few seconds and them come back. It won't be long before he fly's off on his own. I love watching him. It's funny because I sit there and watch that teeny, tiny little bird and then I look at my Harry (parakeet) and now Harry looks like a big ole cloddhopper. [Laughing]

I couldn't get a good pic of him because he's so small and my camera isn't good enough but you can see him a little bit.

Also, yesterday there was a spring airshow at our little airport, just a few miles from here, and I saw a Stealth fly over! It was amazing! I've seen one fly before but never so low, any lower and we'd have had busted windows. The plane banked right over our appartments. I just stood there in shock, like a big dope, with my mouth hanging open because I thought it would be just the usual fighter jet flying by. Wouldn't you just love to fly in that!
