Hello,

This picture was taken at Christmas eve but I was looking at them blown up on the computer and noticed the orb(?) on the lower right picture. We still had construction going on in the house. My little boy is right next to the fireplace. No fire at the time though. What caught my is that it looks like it is moving. Anyway that is the picture I have. I have taken more random pictures but Photobucket[/URL]

That is a bright orb and it does seem to be moving, the left hand side of it looks more blurred than the right. It looks as if there might be 2 of them, one slightly overlapping the other. The orb looks way to big and bright to be dust and unless there's something reflective outside of the picture, that we can't see, it seems to be too low to be a reflection. Because of the increased activity[/URL] that you've seen in your house lately and the fact that I don't really see an alternative explanation for this orb I'm going to vote paranormal on this one. Thanks for sharing it with us. =)

When you click on the link the photobucket flag saying, oops my image for this link is no longer here, comes up. I get that sometimes if the link I used isn't exactly right, or if the pic has been removed.

I looked at your link and the only thing that I can see that might be it is after http:// there is img.photobucket...etc rather than an i and a number (eg - //i54.photobucket...etc) which is usually how photobucket urls are, at least the links I've seen have been. If yours is suppose to be img at the start vs a i54 (for eg) then not sure what else it may be? You may want to check the url at photobucket then check that the url is right here. If you click on the edit button the url that was used for the pic link will show for you.

If you used img because you were trying to post the pic in the thread vs a link then be sure you start with rather than =http://etc and .jpg]pic. I would have fixed it for you but I don't know what your number is (provided that's the fix that's needed).

Looking forward to seeing it, it sounds interesting. =)

edit: had to modify the example as it created a link. =P

Eccman, I'm so sorry, it appears that I may have messed up your post when I edited it to fix the link. I don't know how it happened because the picture came up for me and then it was gone. Anyhow I've uploaded you pic on my webspace so that people can see it until you get the correct url back. I resized it smaller just a wee bit so that it would fit in the thread ok.

Aww your son is so cute! =) Looks like he is ready to give one of his presents a whooping. [Laughing]

Interesting orb, it is quite bright and appears to have movement. I know dust can move as well but this doesn't look like your typical dust orb. IMO If you look by your sons elbow there is a little orb, that one looks like dust. The one above his arm, if that is not a marking on the wall I'd say that was a dust orb as well, possibly a reflection. I played with the settings to get a better look at the main orb and it doesn't have that greyish dull look, nor did it fade easily as dorbs do. There is something more solid in the middle with a bit of bluish hue, and that area remains even with extra adjusting. There doesn't appear to be a strong light source in the photo (lamp for eg), though there may be something reflective close by that is not seen in the photo that the flash reflected off of? Did you lighten or adjust the photo in anyway?

Some discount orbs entirely while others feel the vast majority are explainable, including ones that look this way. I disagree though, not that I don't think many orbs are created by mundane causes (as they are), just we dismiss "certain" ones too easily. If I hadn't had the experience I did years ago I may think differently. My husband and I saw the ghost we were sharing our home with, it was misty like but we could tell it was an elderly man. We watched as the misty form became a ball and as it got smaller it became brighter, when it was about pea size it darted out of the room and up the stairs. So I will never discount all orbs, as I know some can be paranormal. [Wink] Thing is even explainable orbs can mimick a true orb at times, so if there was a way to know for sure with "certain" orbs, I'd be a happy camper. [Big Grin]

I do agree with Renee though, knowing you are experiencing activity in your home, and seeing this orb doesn't resemble dust, you may have something here. =)

I would stay its an orb, the smaller ones around your sons arms are dust, which are coming off his PJs, which would be normal for the movement on his arm. But that larger one is an orb, its too round and bright, and has a blue rim around it which appear in a lot of our orb pictures. It would be good if you could take another one when you sense someone is around you, I'd bet it would come out the same.
