Ohhh sounds like your investigation had some interesting activity. Did anything else occur besides the coins, and any luck in capturing something anomalous in your photos/videos and any evp tried?
It is my understanding as well that having coins left for you (you cannot explain why or how they got there), and even what the gals from your team experienced, are a good sign and not a bad one. They are often associated with spirit visits, or ways a spirit/ghost will use to get our attention. I've read Syliva's comments on this before as well, along with several others of which all have noted the same, it's nothing bad.
I have had odd experiences in past with coins. Although with the exception of one experience the coins left were the same (all pennies, or quarters etc). I believe I've posted about this before, but will share the 2 most memorable occurences given the topic. =)
One time I believe I had a little spirit help by having a trail of quarters appear when I needed them most. I was franticaly searching for quarters one morning (my son needed them for a school outing) after finding my coin jar and purse were without. I went through everything in a few rooms/closets (pockets, jackets, drawers, catch-all's, unused purses etc) and come up empty handed. When I returned to my bedroom to search it again low and behold there was a trail of quarters on the floor. A few in a row leading to the bathroom door and few in a row on the other side of the closed door. =) I even had a hard time believing it at first. LOL The mixed coin experience happened in my bed, I found some pennies and dimes on the sheet (under two blankets) on the side where nobody had slept. I know for certain nobody but myself had been in the bed and I did not lay under the covers with clothes on. I won't go into details but will just say it was very odd and something we couldn't explain (and we tried).
I can tell you nothing bad happened after having experienced coins appearing like that. Nor has it to others I know who have experienced coins appearing out of nowhere, same with stories I've read. Saw this woman on Montel who kept finding pennies, in a line leading into her bedroom closet. In the closet was a little pile, and when she removed a baseboard (or something like that) she found another pile in the wall. They were all very old coins (mostly pennies I think, I may be wrong).
What were the dates on the coins, anything stand out, were they all the same? It may have been a way for the spirit or ghostie that is there to get their attention without frightening them. With the coins totally 36 anything significant about that number to any of you or the residents of the home? Or 9 if you add the 3+6? Have the homeowners experienced anything with coins before? Anything relating to money to the residents, or former residents of the home discovered when doing research on the place? Just considering maybe they were a message of sort and not just an attention thing alone? Please let us know if you do find anything that might explain why coins were dropped that way. =)
