I have been seeing on TV commericals with advertisments for the new movie coming out next week called "An American Haunting"
That is suppose to be the Story of the Bell Witch haunting.
It looks like it could be a interesting movie to go see.

Hubby just mentioned this movie earlier today. It's getting some good pre-release press. I'm interested to see how good it is too.

Just saw the preview for it, looks pretty good. Looking forward to hearing some of the reviews. May be one that you just have to see on the big screen.

Well looks like I will be waiting for this one to come out on DVD. Have heard a number of comments on the movie and so far not one has given it a thumbs up. Actually so far all said don't waste your money. Sounds like they didn't depict what is "alleged" to be the real version very well, and didn't paint a very nice picture of the ppl involved. Not very scary at all is also what I've heard. I know different ppl will have different opinions on movies but seeing I have yet to hear/read even one good review (or half decent one), I'll be waiting till it hits blockbuster. =)

Anyone see it yet and have a different take on it?

I would hope Hollywood would do a great job on 'An American Haunting', the actual story is way too disturbing for the movie industry to do a half- job on it. The Bell Witch story is really creepy, one of the scariest true stories I've heard and read about.

Did anyone end up seeing this? My friends and I wanted to see it but it never came to our area! Just wondering if it was good as it looked from the previews
