Has anyone heard of the Malaysian Bigfoot?

Did you listen to the show Ghostdancer? I missed it. I have heard of the Malaysian bigfoot before, least I believe so. While doing some research on bigfoot one day I came across a site which had listed the many countries who have had sightings of a creature believed to be a Bigfoot. It was interesting as nearly as many countries that were listed were different names that it is known by in those countries. Most had similar descriptions of it, though some were varied. One common factor in all descriptions noted was the "bigfoot" was said to be covered in either hair or fur (be it long or short), and all but one I believe describe it as walking upright. Other characteristics are quite different though in a cpl of descriptions of a country/area's version of bigfoot. Makes you wonder if maybe there is another creature/animal out there that is similar to bigfoot but not the same species, in locations where descriptions vary so much? Provided Bigfoot truly exists, that is. [Wink]

Anything unique about the Malaysian Bigfoot? Have they had numerous sightings, any video or photo captures of the bigfoot there?

I won't go into all my thoughts on bigfoot in general as there is another discussion going about bigfoot in Kell's thread, but another thought has come to mind that I'll through out for discussion here.

I've read that some feel Bigfoot is just a Tulpa, but I've never really thought of it in terms of it being the reason why there are varied versions of a Bigfoot in various countries, have always just thought Bigfoot is Bigfoot, the same wherever you go, but given the above noted it seems that is not the case.

Unless there truly are different species of a Bigfoot type creature out there (it/they do actually exist), could there be different Tulpas of it?

If say a person in China or the U.S. (just for example) many many years ago had reported seeing and hearing a wild creature one day which in fact was actually a known animal (maybe with some abnormalities or deformities), but from a distance or in the dark it was not recognizable to the person....the person then described what he/she saw and from that description others then visualized in their minds what it looked like, or perhaps a sketch was even drawn....over time he/she (and/or many others) developed both a real fear of this unknown creature, and a solid belief in it's existence that was so strong that it actually created a Tulpa? And as time went on stories of it spread, more and more ppl believed strongly it existed, hence more and more sightings would be reported. As the world became more and more connected (communication wise), others would hear of a thing called bigfoot and how it looks etc, and again because belief/fear of it became so strong that it too created a Tulpa. Odds are the descriptions would not be identical everytime (in different countries/areas) hence the varied descriptions/versions of it today? Or maybe the Tulpa took on a life of it's own, so to speak, and as it started to look/behave differently from the first sightings of it?

Could that be why solid evidence that can prove the existence of bigfoot has yet to be found, even today despite all the technology and exploration capabilites we have? Evidence obtained at the time of a sighting, such as, hair/fur, a fingernail/claw, even excretment (sorry).... or a carcas or a limb lost in battle with another animal even....or something from a location discovered where a family of bigfoot (or is it bigfeet LOL =P ) or even a single bigfoot resides? Speaking of family, why hasn't there been sightings of a baby bigfoot, or a family of bigfoot? It actually is very odd given the countless sightings in many countries over so many years, that researchers (and science) are still unable to say without a doubt that - YES Bigfoot/Sasquatch is real. [Sigh]

Will proof of Bigfoot forever be elusive because it is only a Tulpa?

I'm curious if anyone else has wondered the same thing and/or actually believe/feel as some do that Bigfoot is just a Tulpa?

Ghostdancer I hope you don't mind I added the Tulpa thought to your thread vs the other one? I just thought given the other comments I added regarding the different versions/names of bigfoot etc, and your thread is about another Bigfoot, it was better suited to have the Tulpa thought added here. =)

Actually I missed it; went to sleep. =(

I go to bed at about the CC comes on and I do so with the radio on set to one hour; I'm usually asleep within that time.

Bummer you missed it Ghostdancer. [Sigh] Did you hear or read a preview of what the show was going to be talking about, if this was new sightings or if the Malaysian bigfoot was said to be different than ones spotted in North America etc?

So what is your take on Bigfoot, do you feel Bigfoot really exists?

I saw it scheduled on the CC website.

As for it's existance, I don't know. I'll say this, having traveled to Washington five times - I have a relative who lives in Bellevue in the Seattle area, and going to areas in the Cascades the forests there are quite high and dense. If Bigfoot does indeed exist I can see why it's not often seen.
