Ok, I'm going to give this a whirl...
This picture was taken the night of my mother's wake. There is an odd spot above the head of the person in the middle, (that's me, btw....my sisters are on either side of me) Do you think it's dust or could it be an orb? What a nice photo of you and your sisters, your a real pretty lady. Do you just have 2 sisters and are you in the middle child, I ask because that's how it is with me, have one older and one younger sister. =)

Interesting orb, I zoomed in to have a better look and it's curious the way the orb seems to be in your hair yet behind your head. I adjusted brightness/contrast a wee bit to see if maybe it just looked that way but is actually all in front of your head, but the orb doesn't continue in a complete circle. Dust in front of the lens would form a full circle, you can easily tell that is not the case with this orb.

What type of camera was used, and do you recall if the flash fired? I don't see any red eye though a bit of light is in your sister's glasses, but I imagine there were lights on behind the photographer seeing none are showing in the photo. The light appears different in their glasses, though one sister could have been turned in slightly more. Doesn't appear to be any flash reflection on anything behind you but maybe from the glasses, however light refraction is either in a stream, a haze like look, or more of a circular orb like dust can be. It also appears to be in slight motion.

I did two zoomed crops, one with very slight brigthness/contrast adjusted, and the other I adjusted it a bit more and also marked points of interest. I need to upload the pics to photobucket then will post here for you to see. I'll do that for you tomorrow and explain further what I'm curious about. =) Also interested to hear what other's think.

Thanks for the compliment, Cat! That picture was taken about 2 1/2 years ago and I'm now 40 pounds lighter so that picture doesn't even really look like me anymore....
Anyway, I'm actually the youngest of 5, there's one more sister and a brother who aren't in the picture.
As far as I can remember, the picture was taken with an advantix camera with flash. The only light in that room was a ceiling fixture that would have been diagonal from the person who took the picture. This isn't the only picture taken in that house that has this type of object in it. If I can find them, I'll post them as well. They were all taken with the same camera, too.

Lizzie, what a great orb picture!! This is so funny... my husband has had several pictures where the orbs show up in his hair. But his have been smaller. This one of yours is pretty clear, and appears to be behind your hair. If it were dust or moisture, I think the camera would have shown a complete circle, don't you? I have had pics where orbs are behind or between other objects, and it looks pretty good to have a little depth perception, too! =)

Interesting pic you have there. I cropped and enlarged, increased contrast a little bit, to see what I could see. I am posting both results here for you to see. First thing I see, is the "orb" appears to be in front of you, and perhaps even close to the lens. You can see it is transparent over your hair. It is not a "perfectly" round shape and does seems to have some substance to it, (in that it is not totally transparent for whatever reason.) It could be dusty, or it could be mist... I can't say one way or the other as to it being spirit or not. It seems to have some illumination, but if a flash was used that could account for illumination. Anyway, here are the edited versions I did for you. Thank you so much or sharing this pic!

Pate, that's cool!! It shows what happens when I need new glasses! LOL I thought the orb was behind her hair, but look what you have been able to bring out by checking more carefully! That's terrific! Great work, Pate! (as always) =)
